Friendly and helpful staff. Nicely decorated hotel. Room was perfect for a family (family room). Good swimming pool. Buffet dinner was good quality. Beds were very comfortable. We were only staying for one night as a pitstop on a longer road trip.

Not again in this hotel condition

136 rooms and reception is closed at 21 hrs which is unbelievable strange. Rooms contains very old furniture and inefficient lay out. No climate control ( very nice during hot summer night. Expensive in relation to comfort. Nice location and breakfast was ok.

This was a very relaxing hotel that was close to everything in town. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations for our first family vacation to Germany.

The location was great, the breakfast was nice but the same everyday over our 6 day stay. The facilities were somewhat limited and the parking lot was always full. Doing an early checkout posed a major problem - the hotel staff could be more flexible.

We arrived around 9:30 pm after a 12 hour drive. Parking was a nightmare, found only one spot left and it was so narrow, I had to crawl out of the trunk to get out. Staff was unsympathetic and offered no options/alternatives thus I had to do it. I asked about street parking and their answer was that I had to figure it out myself. By time we arrived, restaurant was still open but closed for new orders. Asked for alternative dining in town, told me to look it up myself online, even though I explained to them I didn’t speak German. Room extremely dated, weeds growing on balcony between tiles, room and bathroom cleanliness questionable, beds very uncomfortable… and the list goes on. Online this place looks great, in person you can tell hay day was in the 80’s

2 stars hotel disguised as 4 stars hotel.

I arrived at 10pm, parking lot full, so they sent me 1+km away and reccomended me to "walk back". No offer to accompany or give a lift. Walked back in the dark for 10min. Got into my room which was standard room instead of Deluxe room as per reservation. Went downstairs to reception to ask for info about this mistake and found out that everybody at the reception left and reception was closed. Following morning went for breakfast, asked for a cappuccino (or espresso) and was told that "I have to pay for cappuccino". Never seen in my life a breakfast in a hotel where you have to pay for cappuccino or espresso. When I reported this at the reception I was told "OK". Ridiculous hotel, rude and unprofessional staff.

This hotel was lovely and our room was large and clean. Parking was terrible. There is a loading/ off loading spot outside the front doors. We parked there to check in, and I asked about where to park. The front desk lady, was nice and handed me a map of a parking lot that was pretty far, it was two roads over and at the bottom of a large hill. When I drove there, that lot was mostly full as well. When I got back to the hotel I saw that there was a parking garage under the hotel. I did not see anyone at the front desk to ask about it when I came back. The next morning at check out, the new front desk lady asked me if I had parked in the garage so she could add that fee to the bill. I told her no, I was not informed of the parking garage and I would have loved to have used it. One of the reasons I picked this hotel as it said there was easy parking. So, I am pretty disappointed in that. I had my infant and all of here things that she requires to move around. When I left the parking spot at the loading spot (which the check in lady said we could not park at over night) someone took my spot. When we left in the morning all the cars that were parked there “temporarily “ we’re still there including the car that took our spot. I would have stayed there had I know no one was going to enforce the rules.

Schönes Hotel, teilweise neu und auch sehr schön renoviert. Leider war die Erweiterung des Wellness Bereichs noch nicht erfolgt, daher gab es nur eine kleine Sauna und ein Dampfbad. Das Badezimmer war sehr überschaubar.

Das Buffet, morgens und abends, war in Ordnung, vielfältig und ausreichend. Zwar wurde einmal der Wein in Biergläsern serviert, mit der Begründung, wir haben zuwenig Weingläser, alle seien in der Spüle. Das Zimmer war sauber, der Duschschlauch bei Beginn schon defekt und wurde auch bis Ende Woche nicht ersetzt. Die Dusch-Handtücher waren etwas veraltet, ausgefranst oder sogar defekt. Die Betten gut; die am zweiten Tag verlangte Reinigung war halbfertig. Das Wlan hat auch nur teils zeit und je nach Ort funktioniert, war für mich aber nebensächlich. Die Angebote vom Spa haben preislich laut Internet, wo man den Termin reservieren durfte, mit dem aufgelegten Spa-Büchlein auch nicht überein gestimmt. Das Personal war nett und freundlich.
