Lovely and private, we had a car and were in a perfect location to access Stone Henge, Avebury, Bath, Oxford, Stratford on Avon and more. Steve even told us about the Kennet and Avon locks which were an engineering marvel. My husband even got to try his hand (and back) at opening the gates. "Recommend the property unreservedly but suggest you book directly through cottages.com as that is where Vrbo will throw you anyway. The Vrbo system was a massive let down and caused a great deal of stress with confirmation of the booking. Give them a wide berth but enjoy thi ssuper property if you can."

"We had a ladies friends weekend away in early Nov. Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Log burner was fab and ability to have extra check out time for a small fee was worth it. Having the added bonus of the spa pass made the weekend extra special. The owners are particularly excellent and quick to respond with any of our questions. All good - highly recommended.
