Surrounded by hills and woodland it made the perfect getaway for two couples and an extra one on the comfortable sofa bed. St Girons is a lovely small town with a great atmosphere and good access to walking in the Pyrenees. Host was helpful and unobtrusive giving you full access to the pool, gardens, driveway and laundry facilities. Thank you Myriam."

"The house is very beautiful and cozy. It has a wonderful rustic charm. The outdoor space is lovely. There is a patio with table and chairs and a small yard. And there is a small balcony on the second floor with a stunning view. The host and property manager were very helpful and quick to respond! A few things to note that weren't explicit in the listing: the towels and linens are not provided in the VRBO price. Our group opted to bring our own towels and linens (sheets and pillow cases) to avoid...

"Everyone must stay at Bernard's house, but if you're expecting everything to be very close, this house isn't for you. Bernard and his wife welcomed me and my family who speak very little french, with a lot generosity. They informed us of the local surroundings, shops and nearby hiking paths. The house is superbly fully equipped and very spacious even for a large family. The view's overlooking the mountains are extraordinary even in early morning with a fresh cup of coffee, seeing the sun rise...

"Peaceful, remote, cosy, romantic, well equipped. This is exactly what we wanted for our mini-honeymoon in late summer. Dream view and location. Loved the two hot and cold spa baths, the comfortable bed/pillows, and the cooking utensils. Strongly recommend buying all groceries in advance, the closest shops are a 20 min drive down long windy narrow roads (including essentials - oil, salt, sugar etc.) We cooked all of our own meals, so happy to not have to go into town. Bij de incheck is er geen rondleiding… moet je borg betalen … dus binnen de 24h moet je alles opgemerkt en gaan zeggen hebben. "You cannot go wrong if you choose this place. Marie-Ange was so gracious and made us feel so welcomed. She prepared a lovely aperitif of salmon bread melon and Sangria. The place is clean well furnished and the neighborhood is very safe and walkable. Her garden is beautiful, and sitting on the terrace is very enjoyable. Many cafes and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Same for a full grocery store about 8 minutes walk. You will have a friend for life."
