"As mentioned, I double booked a second rez for a friend to test what was being offered on Expedia - meaning that my 2nd rez I effectively had 2 rooms reserved for the same day; however 3 rooms still shoed being available with private shower. Internet ok but just outside the restaurant , no credit cards so you pay with cash ( they change money and atm just outside hotel ) restaurants/ bar/ shops /taxi just minute outside. "I truly enjoyed my stay at the Pelican. It is kind of hidden and quiet. The rooms are not fitted with a fridge or kettle but there was one right outside our room and a full kitchen w/fridge for community use. Kitchen area was always clean. The WiFi was surprisingly fast. The hand held shower head was a bit of a hassle and we had a bit of a "moment" with the cleaner using our adapter to charge his mobile phone...inside our room. We laughed it off and I made sure the adapters were well tucked away...
