"Driftwood Shores is set in a lovely spot. We enjoyed our stay. The building and facilities are worn and could use some updating. Staff were friendly. It would be considerate of the path down to the beach were modified (gravel? small bridge?) were corrected so that guests didn't need to get wet. "

"Well kept older motel with a great beach view just across the lawn and easy beach access. We weathered the bomb cyclone and had a comfortable time inside while being able to watch the storm from the upstairs room. The bed was comfortable. Might have to try this again when the weather is warm and sunny and not in mid-November."

"Really enjoyed our first glamping. Amazing craftsmanship and creativity to renovate this RV into a VRBO space. Endless details to make you feel welcome. Super easy check in and great communication. Only drawback is very small bathroom… but we expected it with an RV. Terrific experience! "

Property and Location are Marvelous

"We stayed 4 nights at Whales Watch. We found the property clean, and VERY well equiped to cook or bake. We felt like we were in our own house. The location, just steps from Haceta Beach can't be beat, we could take a walk on the beach several times a day and totally exhaust our dogs. It is also located an easy drive a many coastal hikes and tourist sites to help fill the days when you want to be more active than beach combing. BUT the best is just relaxing at the property enjoying ocean sounds and views."
