"We enjoyed a pleasant one night stay here. With advanced notice, we arrived late and we were able to get the key to our apartment through the lockbox near the office. The apartment was very spacious for my family of 5. What was really nice was being able to park in a designated space right in front of the entrance which made bringing in luggage very easy. They also gave us a late check out since we arrived late which we appreciated. My kids enjoyed the onsite playground before we left. "

"This Chalet is outstanding. Beautifully crafted, warm, inviting, spotlessly clean and extremely well decorated. We spent an early Christmas there with our family to visit the Christmas Markets in 2 different countries and we had one of the best Christmases we have ever had. "The only negative was that other guest’s dog lefy 2 piles of geces in the corridet. Someone tried to remove it but left 2 significant feces smears on the carpet. We immediately notified front desk receptionist. Then next morning we told the housekeeper who was aware. The smears remained for our entire visit until our last morning when we submitted complaints to reception director again, it was finally cleaned at the time of our departure. "Everything about this hotel works well. Good location near the city centre but is quiet during the night. Try and get a garden room rather than one facing the street. Breakfast is eye watering in price but it’s nice. Restaurant can do an evening meal but it’s not a great choice."

"Self check-in can be a bit fiddly but everything else is very decent and close to Basel SBB station (where a basement level supermarket is). Staff from adjacent (associated) hotels would help you if needed. Comfortable bed, big screen & complementary espresso machine. Happy to stay again."
