Beautiful Property
We were in central NY visiting family and needed a 6 bedroom place so this property was ideal. It was spacious enough for 9 of us and the views of the Seneca River from the sun room were lovely to wake up to. We thank Karl for leaving his pool open because the weather was like summer and we spent a lot of time swimming, using the sauna and jacuzzi and playing corn hole. We will definitely stay here again our next visit.

Great amenities! Lots of room to have family over to visit. Optional boat rental was a plus!!...comfortable home!….bathroom and kitchen were well stocked and there were plenty of towels. stairs were steep and some areas needed upgrading but overall… great stay and had a good time!! Host replies very quickly and came out to property when I missed the return text..much appreciated !

Nice SAFE quiet beautiful area PLENTY OF ROOM
Honestly we had a wonderful time!! The place is in an absolutely gorgeous area!! The house is HUGE plenty of room to be together or apart lol! The pool is amazing the lake WOW the sunsets breathtaking the outdoor area is beautiful!! Hot tub and the sauna pool table a BIG PLUS!! Fresh clean towels all over the place beds are clean & comfortable!! Just one thing which really is not that bad it needs a deep cleaning for example some webs and dust but the bathrooms upstairs kitchen and the bedrooms were very very clean the one downstairs bathroom needs some cleaning up. Looking to book again this time for 2 weeks next summer!!! The host was also very helpful Pleasant and came by after asking for permission to look at the pool!!!

So much fun and extraordinary hospitality
My adult children, spouses, and grandkids ranging in age from 7 months to 20 all had an absolutely wonderful time hanging out in this spacioius house, swimming and hot tubbing, playing pool, and cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Two in our family even braved the river for a cold dunk before suana. The hosts were wonderfully responsive and helpful. Everyone had a blast. Highly recommend.

Great place!
The place is really beautiful and relaxing. We had a great experience! Just a few things minor things that can be improved are: - The pool heater wasn’t working for us - Cleanliness could have been a bit better, there were a bunch of dead flies in the kitchen. - A house rules book with check-out directions would be helpful. - The living room carpet smelled of pee a bit. Overall we would absolutely stay here again! There are so many great activities that the house offers, I really appreciated the fire pit and the grill! The house was stunning and so spacious. Thank you for such a great stay, we had such a great time for our reunion.

Great value, beautiful location!
The house sits out on a point on the Seneca River, so you have beautiful water views everywhere you look. Tons of room. Owner was very responsive. Perfect hub for our son’s wedding.

Spacious House
The house was very spacious for our group that stayed for a long weekend. We had plenty of room for everyone for dinner and hang out. The view from the house was beautiful and relaxing. The house is set off by itself so it was very peaceful and quiet! It was an older home and could use some updates but we were extremely happy with our time there. The stairs in the house were very narrow but there are rooms both upstairs and downstairs to accommodate people. Would stay again!

Great weekend getaway with friends
Seven adults friends were looking for a place to stay to bike on the Erie Canal Trailway and take in the solar eclipse and this fit the bill perfectly. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, Water pressure was good. We cooked two full breakfasts and two dinners and supplies and cookware were right what we needed. The pool table was used and the hot tub was perfect. the sun room at the rear of the house could be opened wide on each side which was nice. All in all the house contributed to a perfect weekend

SU grad weekend
Anyone who is able to book this property is lucky! Private lots to do and large enough to give people privacy. Had a wonderful time. We only had to drive about 15 minutes to campus and there is a shopping plaza with everything you might need!

Perfect vacation
The property was exactly as presented on line. It was roomy and exactly what our large and varied group needed. The heated pool, lawn space for yard games and the river for fishing and boating provided plenty of out door fun for all ages. Inside there are multiple tv’s a pool table, wifi and even a tread mill. We never ventured beyond the property for entertainment.

Travel Basketball Team Group
We booked this property for a weekend trip with our basketball girls and parents- the home had plenty of space to accommodate each family and plenty of all the basic necessities to cook for them and keep them entertained. They loved the hot tub and sauna- the pool table was also a huge hit and having 3 bathrooms for 5 families was amazing! The living room was spacious enough to toss air mattresses into for the kids to merge together and each bedroom had enough space for an air mattress as well for those kids that wanted to sleep with their parent. The property is beautiful and in a beautiful location- private and secluded but also within minutes of our tournament and a lot of stores. We will definitely be interested in booking this home again for our next visit to Syracuse with our team 🏀!

Wish I could give more stars
Positive: view, location, land, amenities (pool, pool table, games), upstairs master bath, numerous rooms and places to sleep, kitchen, response time, kept pool open for us Good/negative: hot tub was great but cover smelled musty, air purifier filter needed to be changed, full of dust Unfortunate: cleanliness (crumbs on dining room chairs, hair left in shower drain, unopened razor blade next to dining room table, bath towels were stained, bathroom countertop had tampons, laundry room full of unwashed blankets and comforters, disgusting 1st floor moldy bathroom (we all showered in the 2 upstairs bathrooms) Other: leakage in basement from recent rain that seeped onto cement floor near pool table room, wet enough that socks were wet (was told normal, known water seepage is unacceptable), ants everywhere, visible mice sightings. I live in a large city and am well aware of the above mentioned issues. I also know what to do with several of these issues.

Beautiful Property
The property is beautiful. My family and I had a wonderful time. I would definitely stay here again! Tip to guests- the house smelled musty at first, but was much better after opening up the windows for a little bit (probably just from being closed up between rentals). To Karl- thank you for a wonderful mini vacation! My family and I did not want to leave. 🙂 We had a small gathering there for my birthday and everyone had a great time. The sun room is amazing! Thank you again. 🙂

Nice property and area
No problems with the property. Owner would respond to any questions. Boat launch is useful and deep enough. Caught some nice bass on the river. Water was stained brown, not sure if it was from storms in the area. Water temperature was 74-78 degrees. Pool was nice. We would rent this again, but it appears it is already booked next year. Thanks

Riverside Family Gathering
This riverside property and home provided a perfect backdrop for our family gathering. We enjoyed the views and gathering around the pool and had ample space for entertaining our family for a post graduation party. Although the Seneca river is not nearly as big, being on the river brought back memories spent on the St Lawrence river. Lots of wildlife to enjoy while watching boaters traversing the river. We saw a beautiful bald eagle, blue heron, and adorable river otters too! For those looking for a walk, it is an easy stroll to the quaint town of Baldwinsville where one can enjoy a bite to eat at a number of eateries or settle on a bench in the park near the canal locks.

Family get away
We had a wonderful time, the house was so large we could all have our own space and be together. 8 Adults and 2 children. Karl was very helpful and responded fast. Beautiful views, pool was a highlight. If your looking for a place in that area this is THE PLACE. Docks needed work but did not interfere with our plans and we never got the kayaks out. Stairs going to second floor very narrow. Just use caution and use railing, my husband did slip and fall down last 4 stairs to family room. We would go again. Highly recommend.

Family vacation
The house has plenty of room for spreading out. There are many levels to the layout with lots of stairs. The stairs going upstairs are steep with narrow treads and the bottom step is not as high as the rest. We had to watch our 2 year old grandson with all the stairs. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was very nice and the grandkids and adults enjoyed it. We had to cleanout some debris, but that comes with any pool. Overall was a good place to stay and enjoy family. The area was nice to enjoy fishing, kayaking, biking and walking. There is a canoe on site to use, but we brought our own kayaks, fishing gear and bikes. Baldwinsville was a nice small town with many eateries. There is also easy access to grocery stores. The area is quiet and not much river traffic. We would definitely stay again.

Never will I stay here again.
Pretty awful experience at this property. To start, when we arrived at the property in the evening (Tuesday 10/4), the electricity was completely shut off by the power grid due to no one paying the bill. We could not stay there with no power because the outside temperature dropped to 40° and we have an 8 month old. The owner said there was a generator at the property that would automatically turn on, but yet it failed to do so when we arrived. The owner promised to pay our hotel bill for the evening, yet did not do that. We ended up not staying at the property the next day due to still no electricity and a generator that only powered about 1/3 of the house. The electricity was supposedly turned on (Thursday 10/6), but at that point we had already requested a refund. To which, the owner only refunded what we paid per night and not the cleaning fee nor the property damage fee (both of which should have been refunded as well). We came from Houston, TX to visit my grandparents and had high hopes for this property, but it was overall a very terrible experience and we’ll never book at the property or with this owner again.

Great location with issues
I’ll start with the good. We loved the location with access to the river & pool. We didn’t actually get in or on the river, but Karl did say we could use the canoe. I was the only one who wanted to take a boat ride and I didn’t want to do it by myself. We did enjoy the geese & ducks that came for a visit. The pool was a little dirty but not enough to stop us from using it. I feel like Karl would have gotten it cleaned if we asked. He was quick to respond to any questions we had. There were plenty of floats, diving toys and a basketball stand. There is a really nice bed & bath on the upper level, but my husband & I didn’t use it. Which brings me to the first bad point. This probably isn’t a bad point for everyone but it is for me. There are many small, steep stairs to get to the upper level. I have a defective foot and stairs scare me in general. I’m a constant fall risks so after one trip upstairs, I decided to stay on the main level. I think the main level bed with the double doors was very comfortable. I didn’t like the bathroom that was next to that bedroom though. The shower had great water pressure but it was very small. And the towel rack isn’t close enough to the shower. There isn’t a wall close enough to put it elsewhere. In general, the whole place was dusty & dirty. Needs a good spring cleaning. I wouldn’t stay again because of the upper level, but if that & the dust doesn’t bother you it’s a nice place to stay.

Wonderful property and location
The location is absolutely beautiful, a few dozen feet from the Seneca river. The property has features that make it pleasant in the fall. For instance, there is a gas fireplace on the back screened in porch - makes the space nice and warm, great gathering area.
