"Beautiful stone home, built in 1780, lots of need for improvement. We were four adults, arrival was scheduled for 4:30 on Sunday. The host postponed our check-in until 7 pm. No rationale and no apology provided. This was problematic as we were not able to get dinner or groceries – restaurants opened in town at 7 pm. "The house was wonderful and provides a very private retreat from the busy streets of Barcelona. It was clean and everything worked as it should. The check in process was short, simple and the host explained how to work all the appliances in person. The property was a great retreat for the entire family. Wifi was good and fast, cell service is limited in this area. Great place!"

"The appartment is a part of the main building where the owners family are living. This was a surprise but the family is very friendly and helpsom, although not quite fluent in english. The house location is by a quiet country road with forrest nearby and smaller villages. Not many good restaurants we could find. It would have been more enjoyable if there was more privacy. "Being American, Europe often feels like a second world country with some of the lack of amenities and the complications surrounding transportation and overall cleanliness. I would say that Granollers is great for being a non-tourist city in Europe and the hotel has amenities that I had not found elsewhere! The staff is incredible. They’re absolutely lovely and polite and they give amazing advice on food, culture, and local adventures. The exemplary staff is defined by an individual named Xavi Pascual who works at the front desk. He did such an amazing job that I am actually planning back to repeat my adventures in Granollers and staying at Aparthotel Atenea again. "

"Very spacious apartment, very comfortable beds and clean. The apartment has good accommodation such kitchen , dishwasher , washer and most of everything if you need to prep a light meal .The hotel is surrounded by everything you need , excellent market , restaurants, cafe and much more. The hotel was 21KM from center city Barcelona so you will need a car to make your way around. Good breakfast as well "
