"Drove around Ireland with my son for almost three weeks staying in a different place each night and this was by far our favorite hotel. Lovely clean comfortable rooms friendly staff. Hotel, cafe across the street, and pizza place next door are all owned by the same nice guy and what really set this place apart other than the great rooms was the food. "Lovely welcome from real family business. We didn't eat in the evening but the Tapas looks excellent. Breakfast was as your mother would make it. Room was large and comfortable. It is an old Georgian building so don't expect 4* but do expect a lovely stay in this unique Georgian Town with its quirky history and lovely streets. Will be back again soon."

"Just the most dingy place to stay at such an outrageous price! Maybe if it was cheaper it wouldn’t be so bad but at the price it’s ridiculous! The showers would only work when the hot tap was also running, one shower door was loose and fell off, not to mention the the mold and peeling paint. Just not worth it, spent the extra and stay in a hotel "

"We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed interacting with Margaret. She was very polite and attentive. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend this location. Its just a quick drive to the local shops, there is an amazing park with a castle in Portumna, and we were able to visit neighboring towns with ease. I was very impressed with the information Margaret provided. She was kind enough to print out a packet that contains everything you need to know during your stay....
