Parkhouse Bed and Breakfast
3.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (72)
"Parkhouse B&B is incredibly well located to both Bunratty Castle and the Shannon Airport. In fact, it is right down the street from Bunratty Castle. Our host and hostess were so welcoming and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep before catching our flight home the next day. Fresh fruit, home-baked brown bread, and a choice of a hot breakfast plus a large pot of coffee rounded out our stay. Highly recommended!"

The Old Quarter Townhouse
3.0 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (297)
"The hotel was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy and staff were friendly. Somehow we had a room for 4 instead of a room for 2 and that was confusing. Breakfast was fine - the staff were really good; the options for gluten free and dairy free were limited. "

"First time staying back here in a good few years. Hotel is as nice as ever, well maintained. The area around the hotel has been significantly build up since I was last here, but very safe. There is a convenience store very close by. Breakfast in the hotel was very good an dour room was excellent. We stayed in one of the suites adjacent to the hotel. Luxurious 18th Century Historic School House
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (97)
"Just 50km from Galway and in the countryside, this home was a wonderful base for explorations from Connemara down to Limerick. We could have fared further but for lack of time. The home is quite charming, Brid gave us excellent recommendations for nearby eateries and had stocked the home with information useful to tourists. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is considering a visit while the home is available. "
