"The minute we walked into this cottage we knew we had chosen the right place for our extended family meet-up in Ireland. Beautifully decorated with lovely fabrics and furniture. The kitchen has upscale appliances and it too, is artful in its presentation. The bathroom is lovely too. One of the best parts is that it's at the end a narrow rural road, with just another cottage. "Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom."

"Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt genossen, aber es gab halt erst nach einer Woche Wlan. Die Einrichtung ist für Leute, die selber kochen, etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, man kann aber improvisieren. Die Möblierung hat sicher schon bessere Tage gesehen. Wir haben es für uns als Glamping deklariert. Für eine Ferienwohnung ist der Standard nicht erfüllt. "

"Smooth rental booking from start to finish. The house is in a beautiful setting. Garden has the wow factor. The house is a good space and well laid out. However it could do with some work, some maintenance issues and a little grubby in places ( especially plates, glasses and cutlery - and downstairs bathroom has a damp smell ) Has the potential to be really great, just needs a little TLC and some extra touches like some extra blankets, some candles etc"

"Sean advised that door would be open with key inside. This made for easy check in. The house is well laid out with great ensuite downstairs. The shower here is very powerful and was lovely to help wake up in morning. Kitchen was extremely well equipped with loads of pots, pans, dishes, mugs and cutlery. "8 adults in our group who all enjoyed staying at Hilltown. Very clean and tidy, spacious with large dinning space, nice sittingroom and very comfortable double/king sized beds. Ideal for families with children who can sleep in the room with 2 bunkbeds though that was a bit more challenging for our older group of adults getting up to the top bunks! Jennifer was very helpful on arrival and was nearby and contactable for any issues. We would all recommend Hilltown as a great base for exploring...
