"The property was very nice but the owner did not tell us he had an aggressive dog on the property before we arrived, knowing we were bringing our dog with us. He had his aggressive dog in a field opposite the property off lead and with no muzzle. When the owner's dog saw ours, which was on lead, he ran over at full speed, we were unable to get the dog back in the house. "We enjoyed our stay! Discovered we had lots to learn about how things work in the UK, and Raymond was great to respond to every question. We were a 3-generation family group of 7. The stairs were a bit challenging for me (the matriarch, with balance problems), and having 1 bathroom worked for the short stay that we had but might be challenging for a longer stay with this many guests. "We stayed from Monday through to Sunday; 2 adults, 12 years old daughter and 2 dogs. We had a thoroughly lovely stay here with quiet surrounds, fresh eggs for breakfast and loads of space for the dogs to run around. We spent a little time initially ensuring the dogs couldn't get out the huge garden because of the sheep and horses that live around you (and who add to the feeling of "being away from it all" ) and they were then free to enjoy their holiday too!
