Ballycotton Holiday Apartment No 6
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (10)
"Apartment is spacious, clean & tidy and very well equipped (the towel rads in the bathrooms can be heated even when central heating is off!). There is off road parking and a fantastic view over the bay (subject to Irish weather). 3 pubs within 100m, 2 of which serve food and on the other side of the bay there is a fantastic beach. Roads in and out of the village are good, there is lots to do nearby and Cork is not far away and the Atlantic coast easily accessible beyond that. Only downside is...

"I can’t say enough good things about our stay. From the booking to the checkout, it was perfect! Robert was so easy to work with and very responsive to every inquiry. When we arrived, there was a gorgeous welcome basket and very nice note. The space was perfect for the nine of us, so comfortable in every way. Having three full baths was especially nice. "Owner was in contact straight with a very extensive information package running to several pages. He also contacted us by TELEPHONE directly from the USA! The booklet emphasised the wooden floors (several times) as also he did (several times) which was a tad OTT (or maybe just tor us standoffish Brits). The irish contact however was really helpful and left the key in an agreed place for us. When we arrived, we were not quite sure which cottage was ours so a sign might be useful. Upon arrival...
