"Owner was in contact straight with a very extensive information package running to several pages. He also contacted us by TELEPHONE directly from the USA! The booklet emphasised the wooden floors (several times) as also he did (several times) which was a tad OTT (or maybe just tor us standoffish Brits). "This place and the surrounding area are amazing in my opinion. I learned the hard way, but you deff need a car in this area. The towns all around are cute and have a nice old school charm. And Lismore castle and gardens are amazing. Just wish the lord and lady would allow tours of the castle."

"On arrival and on opening the front door, there is an overwhelming fusty smell of damp this emanates from the flat roof in the kitchen and Bathroom damp signs are visible on the ceiling and around the bath sealant. The back door does not open thereby closing off a secondary escape route, there was a note left saying that the door would be repaired that week however it was undated and there are no obvious signs of this work being done.
