"Foxes larder is a very comfortable cottage - very quirky with an eclectic mix of old cutlery and crockery etc - very country - definitely not for people that need things to be clinically clean as it’s on a farm with geese, ducks and chickens outside the front door but that’s all part of the charm …. "

"The cottage is lovely located. 25 minutes by foot to the town center and 15 minutes to the river Exe. Parking space direct available in front of the cottage. A small supermarket is nearby. The heating did work without any issues. A dining room is not available.Alison the host was also super quickly in her response if we had any questions. You have also second key to the cottage.We enjoyed our stay at the cottage."

"Lovely old Victorian house run by a delightful family. Our room was spacious and charming. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very accommodating to our complicated dietary restrictions (some vegetarian, multiple allergies). We would definitely stay again next time we're in Exeter! Travelers without a car should know that, although very close to St. David's station, the walk to the hotel is up a steep hill. But well worth it!"

"Lovely hotel and clean. Lovely staff during arrival. And during the evening too. But breakfast wasn’t such a nice experience, staff member was quite rude, and we were waiting around for a while to order. We had to ask a member of staff for drinks. Breakfast for what we paid wasn’t worth it. Would definitely stay again but not for breakfast"
