Really friendly staff. Very clean room - I stayed in the single , perfect for solo travellers. Excellent location for sightseeing Banbury and good access to the train station - a fifteen minutes walk. Tasty breakfast and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Fab hotel with really friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice. An old building with wonky floors, which can’t be helped. Really comfy bed and good shower. WiFi could do with an upgrade as it’s a little slow and the rooms could do with a few minor paint touch ups but overall great value for money.

Quirky and typically old-English. Whist the room was small, it was quiet and very comfortable. The staff, especially the dining room waitresses, were friendly and suitably attentive. We enjoyed our meals and the location suited us very well.

We did enjoy our stay at the Cromwell. The staff were all lovely, the rooms are clean, however they are a bit dated and need a bit of TLC. We chose this place as it is not far from Upton Hall and just of the M40. Unfortunately the rain meant we didn't get chance to have a look round the area.
