Lava Hot Springs Country Farmhouse 2 bedroom, sleeps 8.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. We have completely renovated this country farmhouse just outside of world-famous Lava Hot Springs. Located in Bancroft, Idaho just 15 min from Lava. This rural getaway sleeps 8 and is a perfect escape for your vacation! You'll also love the firepit and hammocks in the courtyard. It's nice to come back home and relax after a hard day of play!!

If you need more space we have another unit on site that sleeps 4!!

There is a queen bed in the master bedroom. There are two bunkbeds in the guest bedroom with a full size mattress on the bottom bunk and a twin size mattress on the top bunk. There is a sleeper sofa (futon) in the living room and an extra twin size mattress on site that can be utilized as well (all linens and extra blankets provided). The kitchen has basic cookware. The bedrooms and living room have ceiling fans. There is a window cooler in the living room that keeps the entire home comfortable during the summer months! The heating in the home is provided by radiant wall heaters and keeps the entire home comfortable during the colder months. We do have another small cabin on site if you have a larger group and need more room. The courtyard area is shared with this other unit. Pets under 40lbs are allowed however we ask that you do not leave them unattended in the home. There is a dog kennel on site that you are welcome to use when you are away playing!!

Perfect get away
We spent most of our time in Chesterfield and Lava but it was the perfect place to enjoy our meals and evening time around the fire pit and patio. We will come here again!

Perfect middle of nowhere.
Located a very short drive from Lava hot springs (15 minutes if you’re law abiding). Property is awesome. If I had to do our visit over however I would’ve rented both buildings. But, the area is great. Highly recommend.

Great little cabin in the snow
We stayed over Presidents’ Day weekend to visit lava hot springs and we were super cozy despite the snow! Everything was provided in the kitchen and there were plenty of blankets 🙂. The only issues were the bunkbed screws need tightening, and the lower bunk mattresses are a bit thin. Definitely recommend!

Great girls get a way
Close enough to Lava Hot Springs and still be quiet. The lower bunk bed mattresses feel like they need to be replaced. You can feel the bars through them. It was disappointing that there isn’t a dishwasher but the other amenities make up for it! Beautiful location and grounds! Very clean and nicely decorated space!

Cute, cozy, great amenities. Would definitely stay again. Very clean and decorated very cute. Could use the bathroom drain on the shower and sink fixed. Also there’s a big bee/hornet nest in the front deck rafter, we were constantly fighting off bees and hornets. But other than that a great place to stay.

Its a pretty nice getaway...pretty area
We had a nice stray cat that would come around...tried to care for it while it was around. Was easily able to get to Lava Hot Springs. Appreciated soap and shampoo in bathroom. Note for others who stay here: the shower head doesnt work too well. Didnt know there wasnt dishwasher or disposal- plan accordingly. Kitchen didnt have a large knife. White noise is recommended for the train that whistles a few times during the night. Thanks again.

Cute house but poorly built
Cute house but the doors don’t close without jamming them, the shower doesn’t drain properly (I’m standing in my filth), I didn’t realize fire wood was not included so we had to scour the woods. Also this can be awkward to share the communal space with the cabin next door. We planned all meals around the fire and luckily the people staying in the cabin did not. I can see that being an issue. The kids loved the hammocks and the cornhole was a fun treat. Good games in the house too.

Clean, comfortable and quiet
We loved the outside area and porch. With four teenage boys it was nice to have that extra space and with nothing else to do without driving, the fire pit gave us something to do in the evenings. It was very quiet except for the neighbors friendly dogs who would bark at us when we went out (we also had our little dog who would bark back). There were some RV campers in the empty lot right behind the house so it felt a little weird when we were all outside, but we were also gone during the day, so it wasn't a big deal. House came with everything we needed and everything worked properly (plenty of hot water too). We brought extra camping chairs since our extended family was staying in the other cabin. It was fun to be so close but have separate spaces.

Family Bonding Time
This is a cute Little Farhouse. That is decorated very shaby-chic, but functional. We enjoyed our stay and had some outside bonding time at the fire pit and on the hammocks. We did however wake up to some powerwashing of Windows and the unit that we were unaware was some scheduled maintenance which changed a bit of our outside plans. If we knew that we would of change our dates. Overall it was a nice stay.

We had an amazing time! We all fit comfortably and stayed warm with all the snow outside. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and definitely enjoyed the Smart TV, DVD’s, games and kids books that were provided. Lyle was very communicative and answered all my questions quickly. Perfect Hideaway
Our family had a great time staying here! It was the perfect small hidden retreat for a quick getaway. Literally 15mins away from Lava Hot Springs. Making it a perfect Location to relax and enjoy time with your family. Before Our arrival it snowed and Lyle went above and beyond by prewarning us to make sure we had a proper vehicle to handle the snow. He also made sure the driveway was shoveled when we arrived.
