The trip did not start well, we went to the dining room at 4:50 because we had a reservation at 5. The doors were open so we walked in. We were then rudely told that the dining room was not open and we needed to leave and come back in 10 minutes. We ended up having the very person who was rude as our waiter. I was not happy. The meal was good but the prices were high as we think this restaurant is trying to be a high class restaurant when the past history of this hotel is a rustic environment. We went to Terrazonos the next night which was amazing and cost less than the Juniper. We then went out the next day in the afternoon. We put the “please clean the room” sign on the door. We were gone for 3 hours. We came back and the room had not been cleaned. The same thing happened the next day. 3 hours gone in. The morning, clean the room sign on the door, came back to a dirty room. There was a housekeeping cart parked right beside our room door so we took a couple of towels. The one good thing is that the bed was amazingly comfortable. We were disappointed as we had stayed at this hotel when it was the Timberline and we loved it then.
