Revel in breathtaking long-range views of Grandfather Mountain from a spacious, covered balcony—one of the few in the resort that offers complete seclusion. This unique location ensures that, unlike most other units, you'll never have your views interrupted by neighboring balconies.

Please note we prioritize our guests' comfort and, due to the guests' and owner's allergies, cannot accommodate animals, including pets and service animals.

Nestled at the summit of Sugar Mountain, this condo treats its guests to premium resort amenities: dive into the expansive heated indoor pool, unwind in one of the two hot tubs, detox in the saunas, maintain your fitness routine in the well-equipped exercise room, and enjoy outdoor dining with our picnic tables and grills. Adventure seekers will appreciate the condo's proximity to ski slopes—some even accessible by a complimentary shuttle—and shopping and dining options are just moments away.
Inside, the condo boasts two generously sized bedrooms—the master features a king bed, while the second bedroom houses a queen-sized bed. Each bedroom is complemented by a full bathroom fitted with a tub and shower. For your convenience, the unit is equipped with a high-capacity washer and dryer, a fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, including a dishwasher, and TVs in the family room and each bedroom. Stay connected and entertained with Wi-Fi and cable, offering a choice of approximately 160 channels. And, no matter where you are in the condo, the magnificent mountain vistas are always in sight.

The host sent very detailed instructions and left no room for confusion. Also sent a very friendly message at the end of the trip. I didn’t need to reach out for anything because everything was explained very well at the beginning. However, if I needed to reach out, I truly believe it would’ve been handled quickly and efficiently. The place was lovely and it is clear the host takes pride in the condo. The view was absolutely stunning.

The views of the surrounding mountains are beautiful!! The condo is very nice. The decor is a “aged”, however, everything is super nice and clean. The property staff are very helpful and courteous. We anticipate returning to Sugar Top Resort.

Fantastic value, breathtaking view
We've stayed at Sugartop many times and always come back for the incredible views. It's wonderful to watch the clouds roll over Grandfather Mountain. This condo has very comfortable furnishings, (loved to lay in the chairs on the deck and look at the stars or watch the sun rise) and the kitchen had all we needed for preparing meals. We found the bed very comfortable as well. The bath does need some attention - the master shows wear with a damaged cabinet, baseboards, and some peeling wallpaper, and the outlet doesn't function. But the location made a fantastic base for hiking many wonderful trails along the BR Parkway. And we always enjoy a soak in the community hot tub and swim in the refreshing pool! The newer addition of the "Pantry" in the lobby is a nice convenience for food or personal items you may need. We had a memorable stay once again.

In addition to cooler temperature at top of mountain the condo was well equipped with ceiling fans to made it a great retreat away from 100 degree temperatures in other parts of the state.

Very clean with outstanding views. If you want to feel like you are living in the late 80's or earlt 90's... it is all of that. Has not been renovated in quite some time. The outlets in the main bathroom do not work. Bring extra bath towels!!!

Lovely condo with an excellent view and private balcony
We had a great time staying here. The condo was cute and clean and had everything we needed. The weather was pretty terrible but despite the rain and fog we still really enjoyed our trip. On our last day the fog cleared enough for us to see the view and what a sight to behold it was! The owner was also extremely informative and helpful. The checkout list was simple and easy to follow as well. My only complaint is not with the condo or owner but rather with the resort itself. We asked the front desk when the pool closed and they told us 11:00 so we figured if we got in at 10:30 we’d have a good 20-25 minutes to swim around but they kicked us and other guests out of the pool/sauna area at 10:41 and acted like we were a pain to deal with. I wouldn’t have minded whatsoever if the workers and signs didn’t say open till 11:00. This was also a Saturday night. It might make sense to close early on a weekday but Saturday seems odd to me. The shuttle was also a pain to deal with but I suppose there isn’t a lot that can be done about that and as far as shuttles go it was fine. But overall we did really enjoy our stay and all of us agree it was a great trip.

The rental has everything you need, and great views. Our weather wasn't great, but we still had a great time and enjoyed our adventure away. There is a ton of room, and nice amenities. We would certainly go again.
