Five minutes walking from the famous Sagrada Familia and several tube lines (20 minutes to the beach, direct line). It's a sunny apartment, with three balconies, four bedrooms, modern furnishings. Very Comfortable
Joana was the perfect host. She met us at the apartment when we arrived, showed us around the property, and gave us advice on where to find a grocery store. The property is very close to Sagrada Família as advertised. It could not be a better location. We enjoyed the stay with Joana very much.

Great location, lovely property!!
Right by la Sagrada familia!! Get the local neighborhood feel in a great location!! It's a bit of a hike to Las Ramblas, but we did it most days and enjoyed the exercise!! Always felt safe in this area, even at night. The host was super kind and the apartment was perfect for us!! Would totally stay again!

The building is quite old. Room is quite small. Things are mostly from Ikea. Cooking ware is quite limited and not good if you want to cook. The hot water is always available for shower. If the first person takes shower, the next person has to wait until the water is heated until it's warm again. The bed is not clean. My kids got rash after. The location is ok. There are some supermarket and restaurants around but still 9-10 minutes walk to the nearest subway.

Host was great- met us at apartment at 11pm because our flight was several hours delayed… apartment roomy for family of 5 ( aged 17-52) clean, stocked and extra touches like milk and water in fridge 😊 location great -5 minutes from 2 different metro lines and easy to get around

Great place to stay in Barcelona
We loved our stay at this property. Apartment is exactly as shown in the online pics. It has more space than we needed, and it has all required appliances, kitchen properly equipped, and very clean. Location is fantastic, 2 blocks from Sagrada Famila and metro station. Joana was very nice in the check-in/check-out process, answering questions, providing recommendations and even going beyond apartment related helping. We definitely recommend this place and would use it again in the future.

Nice apartment with great location
We really enjoyed our stay here. Joanna was very helpful with suggestions for things to do in Barcelona as well! Very comfortable apartment, we appreciated that there is a small elevator for all our bags as it is up 4 flights of stairs. Fairly easy access to the metro, and lots of fun things that are easily within walking distance of this apartment. Would definitely stay here again when we get the chance to return to Barcelona!

Great value and quiet location
We found Joana's apartment to be a great value. It's spacious and wonderfully quiet for a good night's sleep. A couple of key pluses for us were the comfy mattress in the master bedroom and the nice view from the balcony in the living room. Joana was very responsive when we had questions. And she also pointed us to the good supermarket in the area (there were others that were not as nice) and to a nearby "real" market which we enjoyed visiting.

Perfect for a family with kids!
We are a family of five with young kids. We stayed 8 nights in early October. The host was great about communicating and coordination upon our arrival even with flight delays. The apartment and building were very clean. The apartment location was wonderful in a quiet neighborhood with close access to buses and metro in addition to several playgrounds and a nice grocery store. The small playroom was a nice bonus especially for our 4 year old. I highly recommended this rental especially if you are family with young kids.

Affordable and close to main attractions.
I was very pleased with response time from the host. Check-in was in person but that was fine with us since we arrived about 30 minutes before check-in time started. There were several amenities offered like use of the kitchen with pots and pans, plates, cups, silverware, coffee maker. We also appreciated the AC units that allowed us to choose the temperature. There was great closet space in the biggest bedroom, offering an iron with iron board and extra bedsheets. Towels were provided as well. There was a cute nursery/kids room for those traveling with kids. The greatest feature was the vicinity to the Sagrada Familia, hop on hop off bus tour stop in front of the Sagrada Familia, and Parc Guell. Mount Tibidabo was about 20 minute car ride from the VRBO as well.

Great Convenient Location
The place is extremely well-located and is within walking distance of buses and trains. Literally, a few minutes walk from Sagrada Familia. Definitely, make an effort to walk down there at night to see the church lit up. The apartment has everything you need - a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a games room, and two charming balconies. If you like to cook, you have a market and a few stores around you. Gemma is a good host. Explained everything, provided us with instructions on how to use devices and appliances, and also suggested a few things to see. If you are from North America, just an FYI, the rooms and space are smaller than in the pictures. If you are from Europe, you are used to smaller bedrooms and will not be surprised. Overall, the experience was great. The place provided everything we needed to feel comfortable and safe.

Great location, not so good appartment
The apartment is very well located. There are a lot of restaurants close, 15 min walk from downtown and close to Sagrada Familia. Unfortunately, the description was not totally accurate. It was mentioned that the apartment was new. Actually, the apartment was a bit old and a permanent smell of humidity was present. In the description it was also mentioned a tax fee of 2.5EUR per person per day (except the kids) but they finally requested 5EUR per person per day (except the kids). The photos on the profile are not representative of the place. It looks more clean, new and bright that it is in reality. On the other hand, the communication with the owner was good and she provides good information about the area.

Great Property/Excellent Location But be aware of "Local Tax" expected to be paid in Cash on arrival
This property is in an excellent location in Barcelona. You are in walking distance of so many major sight seeing locations. The Metro is also in walking distance. There is a grocery store around the corner and a convenience store next door. There are restaurants right across and down the street. The unit is spacious, the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was wonderful and the washing machine was an added bonus. The only complaint that I have is the fact that we were not told a head of time about a "Local Tax" that is not included in the price and the owner expects to be paid in Cash when you check in. I did not find out about this "Tax" until I got off the plane in Barcelona via a last minute text from the Owner. Even though the Owner had been in touch with me on more than one occasion before I left for my trip, this "Tax" was never mentioned. It was $5 euro per person per night. We had 5 adults and were staying for 3 nights. This was a substantial amount of cash to be paying, when we were not expecting it, upon our arrival. She was lucky we even had enough Euros to spare because we arrived Friday after the Bank's closed. Also, it increased the per night cost we were paying by a bit. This unknown extra cost could have made difference in where we would have stayed had we known about it up front. I would highly recommend that the Owner start including it in their nightly rate so that people are not caught off guard upon their arrival.
