"Beautifully located opposite Lake Bonney. Great for walking, swimming in summer. Good amenities, some basic pantry items and welcome gifts included, much appreciated. Nice games room at rear for kids and kids at heart. Couch could be more comfy...flooring a bit squeaky but otherwise a lovely little cottage."

"We stayed over the long weekend. The property was lovely and had everything you needed. It was in a great location and walking distance to everything. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and got to meet Marianne too which was great. We also enjoyed a bbq and found the property to be beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Highly recommend and would definitely come back again."

"You won’t be disappointed with River Hamptoms. The photos really don’t do it justice, it is a stunningly beautiful property. Perfect for large family and friend gatherings. The kitchen is well appointed with great quality equipment and everything you would need for your stay. I cannot wait to come back and stay again."

"It is quiet and secluded, with loads of room outside for the dogs to roam. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful and accommodating to any requests. Beds were comfortable, shower was good and the place was well equipped. The downside for me was the property was advertised to have a hot tub, yet there was none. This was a selling point, so very disappointed that it was not there, neither does it have a spa bath. "

"This was a delightful cottage close to, and overlooking the river. It was well equipped, very clean, and although, unfortunately, the seminar I went up there for, kept me from spending as much time as I would have liked, sitting on the front deck, gazing out at the river, it was so peaceful when I was able. I am now trying to find time to go up there and stay, without other commitments, so I can just enjoy it."
