"Booked to stay with friends for an event. The Thursday before I messaged the host asking for an earlier check in, the host agreed for us to check in at 2 which was great for us! On the Saturday we arrived to the area after a 3.5 hour drive, we arrived slightly before 2. I messaged the host and ask if would be ok to get access the property early, the host said the property was not ready but we could leave our bags. "I would describe the facilities as basic. Bare minimum of utensils in the kitchen. No instructions on use of the cooker. Bedrooms, the beds were comfortable but no bedside lights. The shower in the en suite did not work, fortunately the one over the bath did. Door entry was unpredictable. Massive TV in the lounge with many channels but no freeview. Lincoln is a beautiful place with plenty to see. The host answered my queries promptly but I wouldn't rush to stat there again."

"Great central location with an easy and keyless check in. We did have a few problems to begin our stay due to an app error so our booked room wasn't ready but after contact with the host this was quickly sorted. We booked 3 nights and had issues with the shower in the room not working but again hostnd staff were very helpful and hot this resolved. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in Lincoln and found lots to do. Property about a 20 minute walk to the centre and nice to walk through the Arboretum. Hot tub was fun and pretty well maintained but property itself quite run down and poor attention to detail (no batteries in TV remote, freezer unusable as so frosted up, no dishwasher etc...I'm a holiday cottage owner myself and think about the quality we offer and the welcome pack we always include; this was barely adequate in comparison. "
