"We reserved, paid for, and had confirmed a two night stay at this property. When we arrived, the host/property owner shared that the property had been double booked and that we would be able to stay in the apartment the second night only. They did provide another property for the first night instead. It was not as nice, it was not as spacious, and no expansive terrace with the beautiful view. We also then had to move to the new apartment after the first night which took time out of our vacation....

"We absolutely felt comfortable in this lovingly restored home near the center of La Morra. Pino and his wife were amazing hosts, met us when we arrived and he was even able to save us a parking space near the house to make it easier to unload our bags. Everything was absolutely clean and comfortable along with small comforts such as snacks for morning, coffee, and little touches like a chocolate on the pillow and dog bowls for our small dog. The property is located on a quiet street very close to the city center, so there are countless restaurant options that are within a few minutes of walking. "The villa is situated in a country location with a lovely garden and pool looking over the surrounding countryside. The layout is a bit quirky with some interconnecting bedrooms but it worked well for our party of five couples and we all had our own bathroom. Inviting boutique hotel

"Quaint country hotel with inviting gardens. Raffaella made us feel so welcomed. She was very accommodating, personally taking us to our rooms ensuring we were satisfied. She also served us wine and a charcuterie plate in the garden (her Barolo wine was ver good). Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was really good with plenty of options offered. We wished we could stay many more nights and would not hesitate to stay a week in this friendly and cosy hotel. "

"Reception was kind and welcoming, but the room (Dolcetto) was very odd. Tried to find it charming, a long cave, but it's strange. The foot of the bed is right upon the curtains on the opposite wall. Sleep was the big problem. The room sits over the socializing courtyard and restaurant. The mild thump of music continued into the evening, followed after closing by voices laughing in the courtyard below the room. The drapes are too thin to block out the light in the courtyard. Finally, the restaurant was a very unhappy experience. An indifferent reception upon arrival by Ingrid turned cold when we asked if we could sit near the window. The food was unimpressive. With a penalty assesed of one extra night stay, we were permitted to move to another vineyard based property in Diano D'Alba."
