Dès mon arrivée dans la chambre, il y avait une odeur de moisissure dans la chambre de bain. J’ai demandé une chambre calme, sachant que l’hôtel a une façade qui donne sur l’autoroute. Bien que l’hôtel ait été relativement vide, ils m’ont placé côté autoroute et on entend le traffic. Une odeur émane de la tuyauterie, c’est peu agréable. Aussi, le dernier jour en ouvrant l’eau, celle-ci a coulé brune pendant 5 min. Je n’ai pas ose boire l’eau du robinet.

Not the standard we expected. Rooms renovated but really tiny. The hotel bills itself as a suite hotel but I guess just because it has some, not because all rooms are suites. It said breakfast included but buyer beware. What they meant was toast, juice and apples are but you need to pay $8 extra per person for eggs and hashbrowns. Even though our room cost was $280 /night with tax. We'd have had better value elsewhere. Check in staff ok. Elevator sounded awful and didn't move well so we stuck to the stairs afterwards. Someone was continually smoking on our floor which was gross. Front desk was advised twice but all they did was spray air freshener in the hallway. Our room smelt smokey and it was coming from both the hallway AND bathroom ceiling fan. Room itself was clean. No inside latch lock on our door. At one point it sounded like someone was trying to open our door at 3 am. Fortunately they moved on when the key didn't work. No hand held shower head, something I wish all hotels had. The good ones usually do. Hotel is just off the 400 and not in a pretty area, but it was a short drive to the lake with nice restaurants. We tried 147 - an Italian place. It was excellent! Check out staff was not friendly but efficient. Overall the best part was the rooms were renovated and it was easy to find being just off the hwy. There was also a pool. But we felt it was way overpriced for what you get and honestly the smoking issue just soured the whole experience.

Walls are paper thin. Pool was down for over 3 days because the couldn't get the levels right but they kept telling us it will be open later. Stains on the bed sheets and found somebodies left over used cloth hanging from the shower. Toilet paper was already used and almost empty. Only 1 elevator and it seems very outdated and feels unsafe. Ice bucket was broken which left a mess when ice melted. Great price but not very nice to stay at

The room I was in was extremely noisy due to traffic and thin windows. The water from the tap in the bathtub was brown. The tv remote didn’t work. I checked in late, changed for bed and encountered all these issues. I didn’t request another room because I was too tired to change and go back downstairs. I won’t be staying here again.

Moved out of original room as bathroom fan was broken and making a loud screeching noise that was intolerable also heating was not working. The next room smelled of mildew and tub was plugged. At this point in evening I sucked it up feeling defeated. Not a good experience.
