"This was a highly functional suite with 2 TV’s, European refrigerator, dishwasher, pots, dishes, cooktop, etc. the grocery store is<2 blocks away. Front desk is not staffed 7x24, but they ordered us a cab for non-staffed hours, and it arrived right on time. Very neat and clean. Trendy contemporary decor. We would go there again. There is dining nearby, but it is better about a 10 minute walk to the old city"

"For anybody thinking that this will be a 'charming' rustic experience - please reconsider! We were unable to stay here - the place was musty and dark with poor cooking facilities and a layout that didnt work for us - the terrace was unusable due to mosquitoes and we couldnt open windows to air it out for same reason. We are used to camping and would prefer a tent to this accommodation. At 200 Euros a night it is hardly BUDGET - and fell well below our expectations. We didnt even last 15 minutes...

"Property is facing the river and the promenade, which is a nice aspect of the city. The hotel is across the water from the Guggenheim in Bilbao, and the stunning Zubizari bridge is directly outside the hotel. "This is an excellent hotel for so many things. It is in the old part of the city which is lovely and you can drive to it and park nearby without having to enter the Low Emission Zone of Bilbao. But at the same time it's right across the bridge from the "new" city, and a 20 minute walk to the Guggenheim and 30 minute walk to the ITSA Maritime Museum. "

"The hotel and my room was spotless, so clean. 5 minute walk from Estacon Intermodal de Bilbao, which is the main bus station, where you can catch busses to the airport and other cities / towns in Spain. (I went on a wonderful day trip to San Sebastian from there). The real stars of the hotel are Javier and Xavier, who work at the reception. They are such kind people, who went out of their way to help me on a regular basis with tips and ideas about what and where to explore, and each night they were keen to hear if I've enjoyed my day. I was so impressed with them. "
