If the noisy, smelly and crowded Bocas Town is not for you (as well), then definitely check out the Al Natural Residence and/or resort. "We stayed at Steve’s cabin for the last two nights of our trip to Bocas. The property was everything we wanted, beautiful views, relaxing, and a quick walk to restaurants and water taxis. Steve went out of his way to be helpful and friendly. Gave us great recommendations and great convo. Basti is a very cool island with amazing food and culture. I will 100% stay at Steve’s again."

"Upon arrival.. the property floors was covered in dust and debris. The sheets and pillows on the bed in the master bedroom was filthy and had a terrible smell of a man body odor. Master bathroom smell like old urine and the mirror had white spots on it. Both master bathroom rugs was dirty and had black debri on them. "Absolutely stunning property. Serene and a great place to disconnect. Staff and owner were friendly and supportive. La Loma did a nice job accommodating dietary issues. I'd highly recommend a stay. Tips for visitors: Visitors should consider building in a contingency day in case an activity gets rained out. One of our party had mobility issues. The family treetop I think would be a good choice. The stairs aren't as steep between the meal place and lodging. Hiking poles also helped with getting up and down the stairs to the dock. I did the bat tour and bioluminescence tour through them, both super fun. I wore a rash guard top and swim pants for the bat tour and thought that was a good choice. Suggestions for property: Every meal is well done for the food that it is, but it would be a great to have a built in either/or choice for the meal so you don't feel like a burden if you'd prefer a different type of food. The morning muffins are delicious. Consider giving each guest two :)."

"Beautiful Resort and area, had a golf cart the entire time of our stay which was helpful. Staff made getting a water taxi extremely easy. Saw monkeys & sloths right at Reception. Liked it so much we actually booked another night."

"This was a beautiful property! Such a special experience staying in an over the water bungalow! Food and drink they offered was delicious! There is a refrigerator in the room, I wish we would have bought some snacks and beverages before leaving Bocas Town to keep in our room. Staff was super friendly and helpful. "

"The location was just far enough away from the busy Bocas Town it made it feel like we were on our own private island. Attractive rooms with the best view and an overall inviting aura. The thing that made this an 11/10 is the food and food service. Every meal was amazing and served with a friendly smile. The lounge chairs on the deck made it hard to leave this serine location."
