"VRBO need to keep a check on these properties, because this one now, no longer looks as good in real life as what the photos show. On the plus side,this house has excellent WIFI,a great big freezer & large seperate fridge, great tv with Netfix, in English too, good selection of utensils in the kitchen & a lovely, but v v cold swimming pool, it leaks & needs topping up.We r campers, we are use to roughing it, but it was v disappointing when we first arrived. "A great stay. Would recommend a visit to the local vinyard where there is wine tasting and also a hike through the vines and surrounding hills. A trip to the Gorges du Verdon is also a must with the option booking an electric boat for a couple of hours. For a shopping trip, CAP3000 in Nice is worthwhile with over 100 shops and restaurants. The property was great. We arrived just after a big storm, so the pool was quite sandy, but it improved throughout our stay with the help of the pool...

It was particularly helpful to have the roof which could be pulled across the pool to shield the children from UV exposure. The pool was well maintained by our host and he was very welcoming and attentive to all our queries and little problems especially when we needed an extra bed Thank you Jean Marc. "What can I say, this was one of our favourite holidays! The villa has everything you could need, great pool, outdoor living, table tennis, boule. Set in nature you can unwind very quickly. The bedrooms are quiet and cool on an evening with air con if you need it. The track up to the house is bumpy however after a few times you soon get used to it. An Intermarché just down the road for all your supermarket supplies, we enjoyed visiting the night market in Carces. We have 2 children aged 11 and 8...

Villa was spotless and spacious and all the appliances worked. Be aware that towels are not provided. Dealing with Vrbo was not easy. We needed to talk to them about a French legal requirement for liability insurance and the only contact number I could find was a USA premium rate line. Cost me £35 for a 7 minute conversation and they failed to call me back...

"We stayed two nights to see the gorges. It was wonderful. The facility is lovely….well laid out….great hot tub/pool….and the view from our room was beautiful. The Gorges du Verdon is a gem…..be sure to drive the loop and then the long way round….stunning."
