"We had the rooftop suite and had VIP access during our stay. The resort is beautiful! Spend the extra money to go this route. You also get access to the more upscale cabanas. The buffet food was extremely subpart, so make reservations to restaurants ahead of time. The staff was incredible everywhere. If you're looking to do a lot of excursions, understand that many are located an hour and fifteen minutes away. We probably would've only done one if we knew that. Monkey land was our favorite...

"Went last week of April, so some rain. Ocean was great, with great snorkling right off the shore. We saw a flounder, rays, pufferfish, lobsters, plus reef fish. Coral is growing but looks young. Loved the excursions with viva, they had tour guides that spoke multiple languages. Staff was friendly. Room was basic but the grounds were beautiful with ducks, birds, and igunanas. Food was adequate but lacked flavor. Yes I would go again."
