Checking in was very smooth and the house very spacious and equipped with everything you might need. We headed out to visit castros, petroglyphs and hot springs but also spent plenty of time wending our way through the forest and the largely abandoned village, visiting the local river pool and sitting outside the local bar. The perfect getaway."

"This place is a combination of a hostel and a hotel. Can’t rate the hostel even though I am sure that it is good. But the hotel - two penthouse suites - is a marvelous place. It is immaculately clean, has all the necessary amenities and more, the owner is obliging and nice. A five star service for very little money. Highly recommended. "

"The view is breathtaking, the pool large and the house huge - in summer, the three (!) sitting rooms are not really necessary. But the outside area, with the large roofed (and thus shady) terrace was great."

Pues no fue así la casa parece ser si tiene estas habitaciones pero en dos plantas y alquiladas por separado. "Hemos pasado una semana de vacaciones fantásticas. Éramos tres matrimonios con niños. La casa es ideal para disfrutar en familia. La piscina, la pista de pádel, la “discoteca”, la barbacoa, etc., hacen que el tiempo se te pase volando. Todo muy limpio y ordenado. Susana, la anfitriona, inmejorable; atenta en todo momento y nos hizo sentir muy cómodos durante todo el tiempo. Volveremos."

Beautiful place to stay with great hosts

"Gorgeous building, lovely wine, a great breakfast and really friendly hosts. However, if you're doing the Camino, it's a beautiful place to stay but Google will not help if you're walking. Ask the owners for directions, or take a cab - it will save you trying to find waterside paths that don't exist and getting lost in the woods!"

Great Stay…except for the Breakfast

"We enjoyed our stay and appreciated how helpful the front desk staff were. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our only complaint would be the breakfast…no fresh orange juice, no fruit of any kind, no eggs of any kind, no ham and cheese…these have all been standard wherever we have stayed in Spain. "

"Great hotel, right in the center of the city. Restaurant downstairs is also excellent. The balcony is a Juliette balcony. Room was clean and the lady at the front desk was so nice - she let us check in a little after noon because she could she we were tired pilgrims. "
