"The grounds are amazing - so much space, lots of chairs, great outside dining area and a fantastic pool! The kitchen is small but fully equipped. Beds are comfy (except plastic mattress protectors). For us the room layout was an issue. The two twin beds are actally family rooms with double beds in, not separate as it looks like in the listing photos, which are very misleading. This was frustrating for us as we had to have three children in our room - we had booked here to avoid that happening....

"Our family of three and border collie stayed here for a week and had a really successful and pleasant time. The gite was clean and had an exceptionally well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfy, and the garden was secure for our dog and big enough to play endless catch with the ball! The property was not overlooked and we spent a very peaceful week here and had beautiful weather. "

"Lovely large property with on street parking. Located around the corner from the main square. Forges-Les-Eaux looks to have had better times. Lots of restaurants and shops closed and quiet in the evening. We used the apartment for days out and we even had a day in Paris. "

"Absolutely dreadful. The place is not fit for purpose. All very shabby and used, worn out and old. Toilets stained and brown, no kitchen towels or hand towels and only large towels. The place is very damp. Even on a nice day the bedroom windows were pouring moisture every morning. Duvet covers too small for the duvet so all crumpled up and had to discard. Everything is the cheapest, tackiest possible. When we arrived it was full of flies and had to buy 2 aerosol fly spray plus fly paper. There...

"Lovely ivy-covered gîte on the grounds of beautiful estate house. There some animals on the ground (goats chickens and ducks), and a pond nearby. Good size rooms, a small kitchen and it's reasonably well kitted out. "Our Canadian add UK family met here for a much anticipated reunion. This is a gorgeous property that provided plenty of space for ten adults and six children. The house is lovely with a well stocked kitchen, lots of comfortable sitting areas, and a great patio where we sat outside for meals and evening chats. The grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed the big pool. Kate was a lovely, helpful host. All in all a great stay! "

"We loved this beautiful home, thank you to Marie-France and also to David and Kiki next door for your hospitality. We had a lovely couple of nights here, 2 families, 6 adults and 3 children. The place was immaculate and perfect for us to visit the area. We enjoyed the BBQ and the table tennis. The children loved Joh the dog next door and also got to feed the goats with David which was a highlight of their holiday! Highly recommneded."

"Fantastic house, town, holiday ever! Martine's house has direct access to the lake walks, we enjoyed watching ducks, swans, otters on morning walks. "The house is beautiful and exactly as described. Plenty of space and lots of amenities such as private heated pool, hottub, table tennis. Surrounded by farmland so verypeaceful with great views and spectacular sunset in the evenigs.
