Was there with my family on a road trip of South Africa coming from Capetown and we lodged at this property for the night. The rooms and everything is clean and well maintained. The place was good, the food was perfect and the ambiance themed in old antique was simply unique and provided something different to what one gets to expect from the usual hotels set ups. The Owner was very sweet and told us all about the Karoo and its history. Amazingly, it rained the day we arrived and it is said heavy rains like the one on the night only fall once every four years and we were glad to have brought with us the "heavy rains" to the Karoo..lol - First Ugandans ever at this establishment and we were proud of ourselves. Then what we all agreed as a family was that the owner doesn't deserve a 5 star but a 7 star rating...Please go see for yourself affordable prices for a 7 star service at this facility within the Karoo
