Absolutely beautiful hidden gem. It is off the beaten path. The beauty of the Glen Affric area is well worth the trip. Definitely not part of the tourist scene.
Great place off the main paths, very friendly staff, stay here to get to know more about Scotland and the surrounding area, over some chain hotel. Really enjoyed it. The surrounding area is great for walking.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The property is dated and run down, on suite was small with the wash hand basin pushed into a corner being so small as to be useless. Breakfast was the only good thing about it. Needs a complete renovation I would not stay there again.

The hotel met our needs. It is well positioned for people visiting Glen Africc and Plodda Falls.
Very quiet and away from hustle and bustle.
Charming hotel near the Guasinach property, the home of golden retrievers. Staff were great and very warm. Good food and drink enjoyed under the summer eve. Great ambiance.
We were given a room that was totally inadequate for the price. Really overpriced for the services offered. The shower did not work, the sink and drains made deafening noises, perhaps because they were fed by a pump. Cleanliness barely acceptable.
Hidden little gem. Our room (6) was gorgeous with beautiful views. Extremely quiet area. Staff super welcoming. Beds mega comfy, dog friendly and food was amazing. Only complaint was very little water pressure in the shower
Had a lovely one night stay at the Tomich. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and hotel is in a nice area for exploring local walks. We had the dog with us and she was also welcomed and seemed to enjoy her stay too! Food was very good and room was nice and spacious. A traditional old fashioned hotel perhaps that is slightly tired but didn’t affect our stay at all. Would recommend.
Great location - situated in an attractive, quiet “heritage” Victorian estate village a short drive from the breathtaking scenery of Glen Affric. The hotel itself - decor is shabby and old fashioned, the garden uncared for, in many ways the owners aren’t making the most of this place….however they are friendly and work dawn to dusk to keep the place ticking over. And they have a fabulous chef - we ate our evening meal in the hotel bar throughout our stay (4 nights) and every dish was fresh, home cooked, and executed with real skill and care.
Expensive and restaurant in need of a good clean up. Cobwebs, dust and dead flies. In need of management who cares for the place and for the customer which was definitely lacking. The room itself was clean and large but bed uncomfortable. Food good (steak and ale pie was delicious) although daily specials were the same for the 3 days we were there including soup! Lovely location just a shame about the hotel which could offer so much more.
Two nights at the wonderful traditional inn style hotel in beautiful Glen Affric Highlands. This characterful hotel beats the bland chain hotels and couldnt beat friendly hosts (thanks for the room uograde). Really hope the future plans for hotel work out esp. the cycling links for nearby Great Northern Trail.
