Ladybug Hill sits on hill on Taghkanic Churchtown Rd., one of the most beautiful roads in the area, bookend by two historic churches and lined with elegant horse farms and restored farmhouses. Enjoy morning strolls, or a power walk on a hilly 3-mile road. You'll have the privacy of being out of the city without any noice from neighbors, but can also stay connected with the latest technology and strong Wi-Fi to work remotely. You're only a short drive (12 minutes) from Hudson, New York, the hottest destination to emerge during the pandemic + 20 minutes from the well-known ski mountains, CATAMOUNT and BUTTERNUT. The town of Hudson, is often referred to as the Brooklyn of Hudson Valley. Enjoy your morning coffee and croissants at BREADFOLKS, followed by local fresh farm shopping at HUDSON FARMERS MARKET every Saturday. You’ll enjoy sunset drinks and dinner at trendy and acclaimed THE MAKER HOTEL or atop by the SONSER HUDSON wine bar for some organic wine. Hudson is nothing just about eating and drinking. Spend some time in the local shops as are full of everything from antique furniture to bespoke clothing and cosmetics, one of our favorite spots is SOURCE ADAGE, a local fragrance shop. If you are someone that enjoys nature you will look the hiking train at Taghkanic State Park or discovery nature in the Birkshires.

Cute cottage in a quiet location.
I had a great stay at Ladybug. The wifi and the peace and quiet were exactly what I needed to get some work done. There were lots of 4 legged friends - a ground hog, squirrels, rabbits, deer and fire flies. Superb comfortable and whisper quiet. I wished I didn’t have to leave!

Chic and cozy house near a Hudson NY
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The house is very comfortable and well maintained. Everything you could want, very functional kitchen, soaking tub and fluffy duvets provide all the comforts of home. The charming town of Hudson is minutes away offering antique shopping, art galleries and gourmet restaurants. The picturesque country side provide an abundance of outdoor activities. Beautiful rolling walks amongst chicken, cow and sheep filled farms and hiking in a state park near by.. I will definitely return for another adventure.

Ladybug Hill is a darling little cottage in a bucolic location. Enjoyed easy driving access to great shops and restaurants in Hudson and coming home to a quiet and beautiful country location.

Ladybug - A Lovely Farmhouse near Hudson, New York!
Our group of four absolutely loved this charming farmhouse near Hudson, New York. We stayed busy every day from dawn to later than dusk exploring small towns and the beautiful surrounding countryside! This is a very historical area but also close to dairies, wineries, a distillery, good restaurants, apple orchards.....I would love to stay there again!

Labor Day weekend break
My husband and I & our 2 small puppies spend 3 nights at Lottie’s beautiful home in country. We enjoyed every minute if it. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook, there is a large back lawn area you can sit out and enjoy if the weather is good. The home is beautifully decorated. The location is wonderful. There are lots of farmers markets close by, your only approx 10 mins to Hudson. We would definitely return in the future. Thank you Lottie for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beautifully furnished and decorated!
This home interior should be featured in a magazine. It's a shame that the kitchen photo is not posted because it too is spectacular. We really enjoyed the screened in deck/room. It was so pleasant to sit there for morning coffee and late evening rest. All new touches while maintaining the original charm. Immaculate care and cleanliness. The only drawback for us is the lack of a driveway and the distance from the car to the front door and upstairs. We are seniors and have had health and surgery issues. The walk up and down hill from the car to the house while carrying items was difficult. It's good that our adult son was with us to assist. Otherwise I think the property must be beautiful in all seasons.
