Nannycroft Cottage is a delightful three-bedroom holiday home in the charming village of Beckermet on the West Coast of Cumbria that has been recently refurbished and offers a tranquil getaway for friends and families in this picturesque corner of England.
The area has a rich history, with evidence that settlers have lived here since at least 500 AD. Visitors can take advantage of nearby attractions such as Muncaster Castle or walk along one of many coastal paths with spectacular views across the Irish Sea.
This beautiful property offers an inviting ground floor with a modern kitchen and dining area and a cosy living room with plush sofas and a contemporary gas fire.
Upstairs are two spacious double bedrooms and one single bedroom, all serviced by a bright family bathroom with a bath with a shower over.
Beckermet is the perfect starting point for exploring the majestic beauty of Cumbria's Lake District. Located on the West Coast, Beckermet provides easy access to some of England's most famous fell walks, including Scafell Pike (13 miles away), England's highest mountain at 978 metres above sea level, as well as Wastwater - voted Britain's favourite view by BBC Countryfile viewers in 2012. Both offer challenging and rewarding hikes that will take your breath away with stunning views across rolling hills and crystal-clear waters.
For those looking for a less strenuous walk, plenty of more moderate routes around the village can be taken at a leisurely pace while still taking in all the sights and sounds of this incredible landscape.
Stay at Nannycroft Cottage and experience the perfect vacation from start to finish!
