**Fenced in yard with doggy door for fur babies**

Story and a half lake front cabin on Nolin Lake with a fantastic view of the lake and semi-private. This cabin has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The walkout basement is set up perfect for kids with a pool table/ping pong table, air hockey table, smart tv with wifi, two twin bunk beds atop a full size futon in the basement bedroom, a twin daybed with a twin trundle, and full size futon with twin bunk on top in the open area.
Outside has a 2 tier deck with the hot tub located on the bottom deck and a professional cornhole pit (corn hole boards and bags provided) with additional deck space with outdoor tables.
Inside features wood vaulted ceilings and wood stairs. The private master suite upstairs boasts your own full bath. There is a real wood burning fireplace made of stone, perfect for those chilly nights as well as a professional outdoor firepit.
This cabin comes equipped with internet, games, TV's and DVD's, and wired speakers all through out, including outside.
The cabin is fully stocked with linens, towels, utensils, plates and bowls.

Local Attractions: There is swimming, boating, skiing, and tubing on the lake. There are several nice local golf courses and local marinas that offer boat rentals. Most local attractions are within 45 mintues of the cabin including Mammoth Cave - includes hiking trails, horseback riding and cave exploration, Dinosaur World, Kentucky Down Under, and Corvette Museum.

Perfect
We had two small dogs and this had a fenced in yard for them which was perfect. We hosted a dinner for our friends and family and had a great time. Love the house and look forward to renting it again.

Work Family Get Away
The property was just as described, clean, and with all amenities listed. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and had a lovely hike through the area. The views were spectacular and the outside seating areas plentiful! This is one spot we will all be staying again with our families!

This is a fun home, games, outdoor firepit, grill, hot tub (although we did not use it), plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. 10 minute drive to the marina. Outdoor eating and relaxing with two decks. We all had a great time.

Family Retreat
Our family and in-laws had a wonderful long weekend on Lake Nolan. While the weather was very cooperative, we enjoyed lake time at the local beach, a quick tour at Mammoth Cave and lots of time on the back porch catching up. The kids loved the basement and outdoor space, and the adults slept well in the comfortable beds. Its a beautiful location and quiet location overlooking the shores of the lake.

Wonderful cabin and room for the entire crew!
This home is so comfy and inviting. It rained the entire time we were there, but the cabin is so spacious with amazing covered decks and plenty of games and indoor activities that we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back in better weather to take advantage of the lake!

Great short time vacation
We had a great family time for 3 days at this house. Plenty of rooms on 3 levels, good space for family with little kids and seniors as well. Spectacular and calming view of the lake from front porch. A little inconvenient that you have to drive 18 min to public beach and 25 min to the marina, however we did both trips. I would not recommend to spend driving time for beach , rather spend the time on the boat (rent advance!) .One of the good points that you allowed to bring a couple of dogs!

Quiet Kentucky home
The Bee Spring Cottage we stayed at was very tidy, comfortable, well stocked and perfect for our large 7 person family. The property was in a quiet friendly neighborhood. Home was very pet friendly for our large dog. I would happily recommend this rental to family and friends. My kids are already asking to visit again. It was roughly a 40 min drive to Mammoth caves, and 20 min from Nolin State park and Dam. So many beautiful and historic destinations can be accessed from this rental. We really enjoyed staying here! And the hosts were so quick to communicate. 10 out of 10 stars!

Family!!
I had such a great time. The cabin is amazing and beautiful,and it is so spacious. We had plenty of room to hang out with the kids ..19-25 year old. And them also have their own space. I loved the piece and quiet and cant believe how much room their was. Lol....also played ping pong!! SOO much fun! My son also proposed to his girlfriend, next time we are their we will have an extra Mckeehan! We WILL be back!!

Lake weekend
Great lake house! Friends and I enjoyed the multiple porches, hot tub, proximity to Mammoth Cave, as well as rented a boat nearby on Nolin Lake for the day. The house had a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of linens and room for all of us. We did not bring the kiddos or pets but the property would've accommodated both with toys/games/DVDs available, a dog door and mini dog yard. Some carpenter bees making home on the upperdeck posts, but otherwise pest-free. Could also use some new seating around the firepit.

Lake House property
Overall nice house, great location. Listing details somewhat mis-leading as the house is not truly lakefront. The biggest disappointment however was the lack of working hot tub. We were never able to use it during our entire stay and a hot tub was among the top 3-criteria when searching for a rental. Very Very disappointing!

Nice lake house
We had an issue with checking in. The housekeeper was running late and pushed back our check in while part of our group was already there. This was resolved by the fantastic host, but it is an inconvenience and something to be aware of. There were a few other minor issues, but for the most part the house was great and as advertised. The views from the deck are superb and the hot tub is adequate.

Great house and amenities
The house was absolutely wonderful. The sleeping arrangements were as described and the owners had everything you might need. The hot tub and fire pit were awesome to have and use. I do feel it’s important to know that there is absolutely no water access to renters. There is a dock that owners can use, but there is signage that does not allow renters to even walk on the dock, swim off of or put a canoe or kayak in. It was hard for us with young kids to not allow them to walk out there or get in the water even though no one was around. For this reason, we would not stay again despite the great house and accommodations.

Great Family Getaway
This was a great place for a big family getaway. The house was neat and clean and had plenty of room for our 7 adults, 2 kids and 4 dogs. The fenced yard and doggie door were especially awesome, as was the hot tub. The 2 decks on the house were great, we only wished that the main level one had more lighting so that we could all sit outside and play games together in the evenings, and it would have been nice if one of the decks had been screened in, there were a lot of mosquitos in the mornings and evenings. There was an issue with the wifi not working. After a bit of troubleshooting with the host, she suggested we contact the internet provider and troubleshoot with them, but none of us wanted to spend our vacation time doing that so we just did without, which was fine. Overall we loved the place and had a great time, would totally recommend!

Enough room for family and pets
We enjoyed spending our “quaran-cation”, safe from the public in this beautiful home! We were thrilled to find a fenced in area for our dogs to use and the fully stocked kitchen for cooking all of our meals. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us to spread out and have our own space, and plenty of activities on site for all ages. However it was disappointing to be right on the lake but unable to access it without driving 10 min to the dam or beach (we were given strict rules to stay off the dock, which takes up the entire lake access area, making it impossible to fish or even load in a kayak - our main goals of our trip). The listing did not disclose that we would not have lake access. Unfortunately the housekeeper also seemed to have failed to show before our stay, leaving us with trash laying around, toys in the hot tub, a full dishwasher and dryer, old birthday cake in the refrigerator, and dirty bedding. For the price paid, the home could use some repairs (several holes in doors, coffee table looked chewed by an animal, broken tiles, etc.)

MLK Weekend Family Retreat
Our family arrived late in the evening (around 10 pm), having driven from Georgia after work. We had trouble locating the property despite using a GPS. (During our stay, we found that even using four different GPS's, none of them accurately directed us to this house!). After we finally arrived on the correct street and made it through the gate, there was no house number on the house, so the only way we could find the house was to knock on neigbors' doors for help after having called the owners without success. The house was totally dark when we arrived, so it was very difficult to locate even when the neighbor at the end of the street gave us directions. If you arrive at night, be sure to bring a flashlight to be able to access the key located under the bench outside. After we located the house and made our way inside, we had a very nice time. We brought firewood as had been suggested, and we enjoyed sitting by the fire. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, and we especially enjoyed the coffee maker with a fountain-type dispenser! We hosted a couple of meals for family members who were staying at other rental homes around Nolen Lake. We also enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Overall, we had a nice visit. However, I recommend that you obtain very specific directions to the property prior to your visit , and do not rely solely upon a GPS.
