"Perfect location and views. Great proximity to Beech Mtn. Plenty of space. However, property furnishings were extremely worn and needed to be thrown out. Pillows in tatters, couches and chairs were gross. Coffeemakers were all broken. This property definitely needs a makeover. If that bothers you, you’ll want to stay somewhere else."

"Not cleaned an arrival and some amenities were not working. After repeated calls for maintenance repair where calls were not returned our 3 day stay was without some amenities. Calls that were answered said problem was fixed, but upon returning to cabin that was not true. called again and said they would be there in about 35 minutes. 2 and 1/2 hours later called and they told me the maintenance man's truck broke down and they couldn't get to me. "We went in the off season but this would be a perfect spot for a winter vacation. The fireplace is so nice and it is decorated for a winter vibe. This didn’t bother us even in the off season. The kids actually enjoyed it. Communication with the owner was great. They responded quickly and accommodated what we might have needed.
