"Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"

"The location was close to town but yet far enough away to be peaceful. We loved the animals so close by!! The house and the location are beautiful. The house was clean and well kept. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We would stay again if we didn't live so far away! Thank You for letting us be your guests !"

The owner still seems to live here and go somewhere else when guests rent the apartment. It is located in a small neighborhood in Küssaberg and is not far from a large industrial facility. There was a dishwasher and ample cookware plus dishware along with a good size fridge. The apartment does have many unique and creative touches with many art pieces being abstract if...

"Very clean, great communication with the host. Very well-equipped apartment with good washing machine in basement. Beautiful views over the valley. We enjoyed watching the cows coming and going for milking. Good places nearby to eat. Lots to do in the area for all ages. You can be as active as you like, or rest and enjoy the scenery. Tip: check sleeping arrangements. Our 2 teenager boys were to sleep in a double bed. We took one mattress out and put it on top of a couch, which was fine."

In der Umgebung gibt es jede Menge Wanderziele, die Schweiz ist nah, wen es in die Großstadt zieht, Basel, Zürich und Winterthur sind leicht erreichbar. "The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were great - spacious with everything we needed for our week long stay. Breakfast was varied and very tasty. We didn’t use the restaurant during the day/ evening as Winterthur has excellent dining options. Nothing to do with the hotel, but major roadworks were taking place in Wartstrasse which sometimes made it difficult to enter/ exit the road. However, we explored alternatives and found our way around. "
