About a 30-60 minute drive to PEK (depending on traffic) and 60-90 minute drive to the Great Wall Mutianyu. The hotel breakfast was really good and had a variety of options. Staff was helpful and friendly!"

"A perfect little gem of a hotel right in the centre of the hutongs. Very clean and welcoming with superb service from their staff (who speak English). The hotel is like a little museum to Chinese shadow art with so much information, examples and a library. An added bonus was the actual shadow art performance and demonstration by the puppeteer. "

"Please do not stay here! I cannot stress that enough. This hotel moved us around multiple times to different locations within the same hotel. at one point they took us to a new room that required walking a long distance outside in the snow and ice. When we arrived it was the wrong room and was dirty. At this time it was 5 am and we did not want to move rooms again. We agreed to stay until the snow stopped. During this time we did not sleep just researched new hotels. From only sitting on the bed...
