"We stayed here for a week and it was absolutely fantastic. Photo’s don’t do the scenery or accommodation justice. Surrounded by hills and woodland it made the perfect getaway for two couples and an extra one on the comfortable sofa bed. St Girons is a lovely small town with a great atmosphere and good access to walking in the Pyrenees. "Everyone must stay at Bernard's house, but if you're expecting everything to be very close, this house isn't for you. Bernard and his wife welcomed me and my family who speak very little french, with a lot generosity. They informed us of the local surroundings, shops and nearby hiking paths. The house is superbly fully equipped and very spacious even for a large family. The view's overlooking the mountains are extraordinary even in early morning with a fresh cup of coffee, seeing the sun rise...

Amazing views in a charming village!

"The house is very beautiful and cozy. It has a wonderful rustic charm. The outdoor space is lovely. There is a patio with table and chairs and a small yard. And there is a small balcony on the second floor with a stunning view. The host and property manager were very helpful and quick to respond! A few things to note that weren't explicit in the listing: the towels and linens are not provided in the VRBO price. Our group opted to bring our own towels and linens (sheets and pillow cases) to avoid the extra charge. We also opted to tidy the space ourselves (not a deep clean) to avoid an additional cleaning charge. A stock of fire wood for the wood stove in the living is available for an additional charge as well. Overall, my group and I had an incredible stay! It was a relaxing environment and an accomodating host."
