Suzanne provided a very calm and peaceful place for use to get away from our every day life. This cottage was fully stocked with anything you might need.
So glad we booked this quiet little cottage! It the perfect size and the lake front view is gorgeous. We definitely try to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake!
My husband and I stayed at Suzanne's place over his birthday. We were both so impressed by the decorating, amenities and attention to detail. Outside the approach to the lake was nice and flat with a dock and kayaks. Ample outdoor space to relax on multiple decks or around the fire pit. Amazing place!!I would give it a 10 plus rating!!
We spent labor day here with our dog and it was perfect. The property had everything we needed and Suzanne was an amazing host. She took time out of her holiday weekend to drop off firewood for us which we greatly appreciated! We had a blast using the kayaks provided and brought our own floats to hang out in the lake. I’d recommended this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing lake house getaway!
My husband and I just needed a weekend away from home. Suzanne’s lake cottage was perfect. It felt like a friend loaned a house to us for the weekend because they weren’t using it. All the little personal items in the home made it feel very cozy and the jar of hairties in the bathroom came in clutch!
My daughter and her husband stayed on their wedding night. They asked that I give high ratings. They said it very cute and cozy. Although their stay was short. They highly recommend it.
I rented this cottage for some r&r and this property was on target! Nice view of the lake from the decks, 4 swans hanging out on the water right off the dock, geese flying by once in a while, it was great. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable! It is a small cottage but you don't feel cramped. Even though the houses on the lake are "stacked in like cord wood,"it's a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. We will most likely be back next year!

A Bit Disappointed
Although the hostess was very friendly and addressed an issue that happened with the power, we decided to leave a day early. We were disappointed in the upkeep of the property. The pictures on the Vrbo site must have been taken when the property was first rented. We were looking forward to a few days of relaxation, however the pier was slanted, as well as the floors in the cottage and the kitchen sink. My partner had difficulty walking and maintaining balance on the uneven surfaces. The refrigerator had an odor. The cleanliness of the deck and grill was not satisfactory. THE BATHROOM WAS CLEAN! The cottage is very small with little room to place personal items. Decorations, although nice, took up a lot of the surface space making it difficult to relax in such crowded surroundings. This property could be very nice with some needed upkeep.
Inside was very cute, and had all the necessities. We wanted to sit outside but chairs by the fire pit were broke. The owner said she would bring more the next day. All the other chairs had cushions and they were wet so we couldn't use them. Even though it had stormed 2 days before it would've been nice if the cushions had been stored in the shed, or at least covered with plastic so we could've used them. The sight said firewood was included, there was only 4 small pieces and when we informed the owner, we were told we could go get some a few miles away. We had no intentions of going anywhere as it took us an hour to drive there and we are older people. This should have all been taken care of before our stay, disappointed by not being able to sit outside, that was the biggest reason for wanting to stay there. We left the next day as with an east wind, fish weren't biting anyway.
