"Location was good, by the bus station and a 10 minute (uphill) walk into the touristy central area of Belgrade. It's a difficult hotel to review as it's trying desperately to be something, elegant? classy? but it falls short. The décor is more quirky shabby chic than elegant. "Hotel Opera Garni is only 2 minutes walk to the square and central for visiting many places. The hotel is very clean and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great with plenty of choice. I would definitely stay again."

"It was a good hotel overall, conditions were not the best, elevator bit dodgy but works, room was massive and full of space. Bathroom door for shower was broken on one side, not fully functional but overall it was good. On top of a small shopping center, there is Poncho fast food open next door which doesn't accept card and a supermarket crossing road that does accept card. Macdonalds literally infront so good location. "

"The Slavija is an admirable monument to the Yugoslavia of old, and with that it is a little tired. It is however, easy to get to, comfortable and clean and has a good breakfast, so very much what we'd hoped for when needing a last minute stay in Belgrade. For a night in the city before heading to the airport, you could do worse."
