"This is a nice little place in Belize City not too far from the airport. But know it will be $30US each way in the taxi to and from the airport. My only complaint is the pool in the back was not heated and too cold to get into. The owner said something may have been wrong with the heater but it was never fixed during our stay. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. There was a nice hammock outside of the room where we were able to lay and relax. Overall we were pleased with the stay. There was one restaurant very close that we walked to which was Smokey’s. It was mediocre at best. They tried to do American food and it just wasn’t that great. They said the burger may have been better. I would rather have local food rather than bar food I can get in the states. Breakfast was very good, as it was homemade there at the main house, and we sat out on the porch to enjoy it with a lovely view of the courtyard. Just remember your bug spray! "

"Itvwas a terrific hotel for me. Hot shower, soft comfortable bed & refreshing pool. I ate at the restaurant -the coconut seafood soup, fish empanadas & fry jacks with jam were all very tasty."

"Very clean and comfortable inside the room. Much more spacious than I expected for the two of us using 2 queen beds. We received coconut bread as a welcome gift, which was delicious and appreciated after a long flight."

"Im giving 5 stars because there was a smart TV in the room, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The view of the ocean from the room was nice, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating, the casino is big with many machines and table games, the free breakfast buffet was good but could have more variety, taxis come every few minutes out front for easy transportation, the room had working air conditioning and hot water, and the price for the rooms are reasonable. Yes the rooms are a little outdated, the tub/shower filled with water and took an hour to go down, if you hear a loud buzzing its probably the phone so just unplug it, there are not many dining options around except the hotel or the pizza place next door (which is great), if you want to walk to the water taxi its about 20 minutes, theres no beach or any swimming in the ocean but there is a nice big pool. Dont let the bad reviews ruin a good lodging option. I would stay here again."
