"My wife and I loved this place called the "west wing" (it was literally the wing of the main house occupied by our hosts.) It was charming, spacious, clean, and equipped with all one could want for a self-catering accommodation. The grounds were amazing, full of flowers, vegetable patches green house, and the list goes on. Our hosts were so nice as they helped us figure out how to run the washer/dryer (that they had never used themselves). Top notch in every way. "

"Great 2 night stay for family of 4. Easy to find property in a beautiful country setting. The sheep across in the field welcomed us each evening. Mary provided everything we needed."

"Family of 4, girls enjoyed the spa whilst the boys went swimming. Could do with a few more options but I believe there's plans to extend the spa area in the near future. Would recommend for a short break. Adjoining tea room serves great food during the day but no dinner service, with very nice service - highly recommended. "

"Great home, perfect location, everything we needed and above all the best host imaginable! Josie went out of her way to welcome us and prepare for us. We had arrived just days after storm Eowyn when much of the country was without power. She secured back up lodging for us just in case the power didn't return. We will definitely stay again if back in the area and highly recommend this lodging!"

But always in contact if needed via What's App or email.Cottage was cosy, clean and the heating was very good which was good as it was snowing outside.Went to cook steaks and the frying pan was very small but we improvised and got our dinner cooked.Just remember they don't leave Milk, butter etc but they did make this clear to us. "Our stay in Magherafelt was lovely in every way. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. Our hosts, Siobhan and John, were simply wonderful. They greeted us, gave us a tour of the house, explained any thing we may have needed to know and answered all questions we had. They had some local goodies for us to try and a wee milk in the fridge for our mornings. The house was decorated very cute. The front porch had lovely views for us to enjoy our morning coffee. "I stayed at Adrian and Lorna's lovely apartment on their property for nearly 2 weeks. It was an absolute pleasure. They were incredibly welcoming to me when I arrived and checked in with me frequently to make sure I had everything I needed. I felt very welcome and looked after by them. I would highly recommend staying with them if you're looking for a quiet, rural and peaceful location to relax. I hope some day to return to stay with them again."

"Brilliant from start to finish, from the wee man at the front door doing the complimentary valet parking to the waiting staff was exceptional, the food was just beautiful in all the restaurants especially the Castle kitchen restaurant and the added bonus was the transport to the castle , excellent!!!! The spa and thermal village is just amazing even in January!!!! We will definitely return in the not too distant future, 5 star !"

"Brilliant from start to finish, from the wee man at the front door doing the complimentary valet parking to the waiting staff was exceptional, the food was just beautiful in all the restaurants especially the Castle kitchen restaurant and the added bonus was the transport to the castle , excellent!!!! The spa and thermal village is just amazing even in January!!!! We will definitely return in the not too distant future, 5 star !"

"Clean, service was excellent, staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Food was nice and similarly priced to other restaurants. Got a nice pint of Guinness. Room had everything that was expected inc iron and ironing board, trouser press. I don't recall a hairdryer but would be surprised if there wasn't one."
