Also, there are nice walks from the front door to visit Aysgarth Falls, Cauldron Falls at West Burton, and a longer walk to Bolton Castle. We found the cottage to be comfortable, including plenty of cooking utensils, good stove and a reasonable-size fridge. There was plenty of hot water for the comfortable...

"The Reservoir View properties are all luxurious, beautifully styled and very comfortable, with all essential items provided. The Welcome Box contained lots of treats. A fabulous place for a short break. Communication with Sally, the owner, was excellent. The view over the reservoir is lovely and the walk into Pateley Bridge is great (though walking shoes are needed as it can get muddy)."

"It was a nice hotel, parking is very limited, at night they lock the car park door but you climb all the stairs with your bags to find out. You then have to exit the car park and walk up the street, there isn't a bell or sign to warn you. Bedrooms are also a small trek using two lifts from reception. Rooms and bathrooms are nice and cery well equipped. Wifi is very good too. Bar is nice, staff are exceptionally friendly and food is tasty. "
