Welcome to the “Beauty and the Beach” at Birch Bay, WA
This is a three bedroom 2 bath home located directly across from the beach. When you enter the property you will enter into what is known as a great room. A nice open area with the living room which includes a large. Please note that there is no cable tv but you do have WI-FI and have many channels via the internet/Roku and there is a DVD player with movies or you can bring your own. You will also find a nice dinning area to host your family and friends. The kitchen is also in the great room and is well stocked to prepare a light snack or larger meal. Large fridge, oven, stove and microwave along with a dishwasher. Next you will find one of the bedrooms which has a Queen size bed. The main bathroom and the laundry room with full size washer and dryers are located down the hall along with a second bedroom with another Queen bed. The master bedroom has a king size bed and walk in closet along with a private bath to include large garden tub and shower. Enough about this beauty with a spectacular view, lets talk about the Beach! The front has a nice size deck for you to sit out and enjoy the view. There is a basic propane BBQ for your use while at the property Across the street you will find beach access to your own private beach. Please know we can not cut beach grass but there is a path small and it takes you to the beach where you will find an area where you can make a beach fire to roast hot dogs or make Smores. Enjoy clam digging, crabbing, beach combing and much more. Experience some the best sunsets you will ever see, or so we are told. You are located about 15 minutes from the Canadian Border and about 3 hours from Seattle spending on traffic. Ride your bike to the restaurants, waterslides and other activities in the area. Don't have a bike, no worries you can rent one from a local shop. Enjoy home made candy from the C-shop and other events and activities. There is no wifi at this property but you will be so busy you wont need it. If you need garbage pick up while here just call our office and we will be happy to haul it off for you. This is a great property for a family or small group. You will not be disappointed.

The location is lovely. The house was very comfortable for our family get together. The only downside was the furnace is really noisy and goes on and off all through the night. This was a big problem as the master bedroom is right next to the room with the furnace and it was impossible to get a good nights sleep. You would just get to sleep and suddenly the furnace came on very loudly. It stayed on for about 10-15 mins and then you’d just go to sleep again and it would start up snd wake us up. This was really a shame because we didn’t have a good sleep during our 3 night stay.

good location but very poor amenities
Location of the house is really good, right across the water, but beach is dirty. Home itself is cozy, but doesn't have good amenities. We called in around noon the day we were suppose to check in to get the lock passcode and wifi and been told home will open and wifi password is on check-in sheet on dining table. Upon arriving, this late december, home is freezing cold, we had to crank up the heat and it took 3 hrs to get it warm. Wifi never work and we have been told that listing doesn't say wi-fi, but listing doesn't explicitly called out saying NO wi-fi in home. If wi-fi was not available why the property management manager said wifi is available and password is on check-in sheet. Furniture in the home is very old. Almost torn sofa, broken dining room chair. This home has VHS player. in year 2018 who has VHS cassettes? No cable either. Check-in sheet said pantry is full and guest can fix a light snacks or gourmet meal. But pantry was locked and only thing available was salt and pepper. I am not a expert cook, but how can one fix the gourmet meal with only salt and pepper? Lesson learned: Next Do not rent a house which doesn't have any reviews and call in to check for the amenities before making a reservations. Thank You!

Fun in Birch Bay
Every October, us 6-8 ladies, have a girls weekend together. We try different areas and this year was in Birch Bay. We enjoyed a church bazaar and Oysterfest in Blaine. The house was very comfortable and had a net view of the bay. We enjoyed a beach camp

Perfect Birch Bay Stay
We booked the house to stay for the last weekend for summer crabbing season in Brich bay. The house was clean and comfortable for six adults . The owner/manager quickly responded to my emails. Nice deck with beach views. One very minor downside, the driveway is a little tight for two trucks and a boat on a trailer. I would 100% rent again for another Birch Bay crabbing trip.
