"Tucked behind the facade of shops on the promenade is a lovely hotel. We were welcomed by Greg who spoke excellent English. The room rate was very reasonable and included breakfast. Our room was comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool. The beds are very firm. Plenty of places to eat along the promenade although we chose to eat at the hotel. "Had a lovely stay here. Charming couple running the hotel. Only down side was the distance from decent restaurants which would have been ok if you’re all walking. However with a buggy and alone the pavements are very hit & miss with areas of bad damage or none and it’s a busy road. "

There was a water kettle but it had to be moved to a different location in the room to plug in. No tea or cups. Shower was a bit messy with no curtain to contain it. "Casa Dei Venti was perfectly acceptable accommodation for our short stay in Corfu. Close enough to walk to the town of Benitses for dinner (although you have to walk along the road with no footpath, which can be a bit harrowing, but not too much trouble for a short 10 min walk). There are many steps up to the apartments, but we didn't mind this, as we often neede to walk off our dinner! "We were lucky to find the hotel, it being last-minute in August. I had been injured and needed a few days to recuperate; it was perfect for that. While I wasn't able to take advantage of the beach, it was so restful to sit on our balcony and take in the stunning view and crystal clear water. Our stay included meals (delicious BTW), so I didn't even have to try to go anywhere for three days."
