"South Shire is a beautiful place filled with history and character. The staff were wonderful; kind and attentive. They were welcoming to us and our pup throughout the stay. We were very happy with the quality of the mattress and linens as well as the ac being nice and cold on a very hot day (not always things you find in an older bed and breakfast.) We would absolutely stay here again. "

"We had a great time at our Honey Bear cozy cabin; it was excellent. Our host, Linda Jane was awesome and kept in touch with us anytime we needed anything. Thanks Linda for all the goodies! The place was very clean and had everything in there we needed plus a lot of things we never thought would be there; it was great! The location was awesome since we had a big family get together and most of them stayed at Woodford State Park, which was only a mile down the road. It was so nice and close and those staying in lean-to’s and tents, were a little jealous of us! Especially Sunday morning, waking up to pouring rain. Thanks again, Linda Jane. We will definitely be back!"
