We had a great time playing games and sitting round the log fire talking. The wi-fi was also good which was great for streaming movies etc. The weather was a bit wild when we were there so we didnt get the most from the walks that are on the door step. Good communication from Susie throughout our stay. Would certainly stay again. "

"Pretty good all round - clean, nicely appointed and comfortable but with one major flaw. The boiler works away all night and with a late night and then an early rise the next day was a little disappointing and made sleeping soundly very difficult. 9/10 with the exception of the boiler noise "

"The cottage was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed to end our UK trip. We were able to rest, enjoy the sun in the garden, and recoup from our adventure, before hopping on a plane home. Our host was kind and accommodating and responded very quickly. It's a beautiful neighborhood. The only thing to note is it is quite a long walk to/from the train stations and grocery stores. You will need a car or bus to get there."

"Beautiful situation on small lake with lots of wild fowl. Staff especially Vishnu and Anna on reception were excellent and very helpful. Staff in the restaurant were also excellent. Large comfortable room and bed. Very enjoyable two nights stay. Food both breakfast and dinner very good, freshly made and very good service."

An calming and pristine oasis

"What a beautiful hotel. I was away with my son for the weekend and needed a twin room. These are hard to find. We had originally booked in another hotel that had a pool, only to find that hotel was truly awful. After one night we left and went to Easthampstead Park, which was on my short list of properties to begin with for the weekend. I should have listened to my gut and come here instead of the other place. On walking in, you can see it's been very tastefully and elegantly re-decorated. Colours and tones are wam and soothing. Check in was a breeze, the ladies at the front desk were very welcoming. The room, of which I attached a photo was lovely. Ignore the beds not being perfect, we'd put our bags on them before taking the photo. We had lunch in the bar and breakfast in the morning, all of which was great. There's a lovely bar area, a very cosy lounge room to read or take tea (I did), and very nice breakfast/tea room and a full restaurant (we didn't eat in the restaurant). I travel a lot for work, so I notice when things are done well and they are here. Things that stood out to me were: - Decoration. Lovely, maybe more plants to soften rooms? - Warmth, despite original windows the hotel is warm. The room was maybe a bit too warm, but we opened the windows. I don't recall seeing AC for the summer though. - Staff were super friendly, very professional, stopping when you pass. It's just missing a spa, that would make it amazing. I'll return in the summer for afternoon tea."

"Always enjoy a stay at malmaison, suites are lovely and spacious, never stayed in standard rooms. Dinner options are relatively limited but there is always enough choice and the food doesn’t disappoint. Breakfast also good. Both continental and hot choices if you want to pay a little extra and all cooked fresh. Bar tends to be that little bit quieter on a Friday evening so preferable for us to a Saturday evening! Another great stay, we’ll definitely be back yet again soon. "
