Welcome to your home away from home! Located on the sandy shores of Lake Michigan, this home has lots to offer. The 1970s Chalet style home is custom built with cedar finishes both inside and out! The cathedral ceilings, cherry kitchen cabinets, granite counters, and hardwood floors make this home cozy and appealing to all. Enjoy panoramic lake views and endless sunsets on the huge wrap-around porch made with composite decking or by a fire under the stars! Don't miss your chance to stay at this little piece of heaven!

The Secluded Cottage is a short 6-minute drive to the south or north beach and downtown with great shopping and restaurants. Experience the fresh farmers market on Saturday mornings, shop the unique boutiques and beach stores, eat great food at a variety of locations, or watch movies at the charming town theater.

The cottage will sleep, 6 people.

Master Loft Suite: Located on the top floor, king-size bed, loft-style, overlooking the downstairs with a view of the water. Private bathroom with a stand-up shower. A small sitting area upstairs includes a futon that can fold down to become a small bonus bed as well.

2nd bedroom: Located on the main floor, queen-size bed.

The living room provides additional sleeping accommodations with a sleeper sofa.

Enjoy your morning coffee or grill dinner looking out over the vast views of Lake Michigan, watch an amazing sunset, hot tub on the wrap-around porch, or enjoy wine with friends and family in front of fire steps away from the porch.

If you are ok with unplugging, due to the remote area and limited phone signal, and unreliable WiFi, this place is for you!

P.S. Due to the erosion, there is no access to the lakeshore from the home.

Charming house with a view
We stayed in this charming beach house for 3 nights on our way to the Catskills for a wedding. The view was spectacular and the house was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The big deck is equipped with a few rocking chairs - a great perch to have a glass of wine and enjoy the amazing sunsets. The surrounding towns - south Haven and Douglas - are fun the explore.

Another Peaceful Weekend Away!
Sitting in the hot tub with the family watching the sunset while a family of deer grazed right next to us was the peak of our relaxing stay here! Love the seclusion and you can't beat that view!

Magical Spot on Lake Michigan
What a truly unique and beautiful spot to celebrate our anniversary. The views are some of the best I have seen - sunsets, seclusion, lake breeze, sound of the waves, with beautiful forest as well. The house itself is just perfectly different, comfy, very clean, and yes sort of magical. Very charming. The wrap around deck and hot tub with views are fabulous. Very easy to locate, close to South Haven and other nearby beach towns. We enjoyed perch at Captain Lou’s on the river, but otherwise didn’t want to leave this house! Candice is very nice/easy to communicate with. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Blessed to have found this slice of heaven in Michigan.

Adorable, Quaint picturesque Cottage
We all loved the cottage and the decor. It had nice modern touches but kept the feel of a cozy, little cottage. The sunset views were amazing. It was secluded enough that we weren’t bothered, but close enough to downtown South Haven that we could still go out to eat or head to the beach. We all said we would come back to this place again.

Over all we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone looking to truly unplug. More than 4 adults would be tight. Take DVD's if you want to watch movies due to the unreliable internet connection for the Roku TV. Pros: Beautiful views, very clean, relaxing, close to many restaurants, beaches and other activities. Cons: No Internet access 75-80% of the time. No cell phone signal 75-80% of the time. (it was hard to find restaurants, info etc. until you were on the main road driving away) No lake access. No washer and Dryer

Couldn’t ask for a more scenic view. Beautiful sun sets. Got to watch a storm come in off the water! Place was clean and met our needs. Shower heads were a little wonky , but all in all very comfortable accommodations.

Relaxing Getaway
I had an amazing stay at this lovely cottage. It was a perfect long-weekend getaway in February for a little personal rest and reset. The weather cooperated wonderfully so I was able to get awesome hikes in during the day, then enjoy perfect sunsets every evening overlooking beautiful Lake Michigan. The cottage had everything I needed to make simple meals and be very cozy. Communication with the owner was great. I hope to be back again!

The Best Weekend Ever!
Wow! The house was just as described! We really appreciated how clean the home was and included everything we needed to enjoy our visit. We are looking forward to coming back again and again! The views from the covered porch were breathtaking throughout the day. We enjoyed coffee in the morning outside with some blankets and the gas fire pit.
