The Loft on Bluebird Hill is a little place to get away on the Lake. Waterfront with a sloping yard to the lake. We welcome you to the 2nd level guest house with a beautiful deck to watch the sunsets. There is a covered carport on the road side to park fishing boat under if need. Designated parking. This is a great place for a quiet getaway to relax. You can catch red ear and crappie, and bass right off the dock. The water is very low in winter. So you may want to rent slip at one of the 4 close marinas. There is a nice double public boat ramp, and public park area less than one mile away in the Big Bear bay on Kentucky Lake. There is a black golden doodle on property, and a few chickens in the hen house. We keep them up when guest are here. free range eggs at your request.
You have a seperate entrance on the second level deck. We respect our guest privacy, realizing this is your place to get away from the hustle and bustle. You will love watching the Eagles, bluebirds, pelicans, and wild geese in the back yard. Or set on the swing on the dock and watch the boaters. There is a patio area to grill. This is a great bay to kayak in.
The kitchen is stocked, dining room with Big picture windows that look out onto the lake. The stained glass windows adds beauty. The bathroom is a little small with a tub shower unit. Older farmhouse remodel, still have a little squeak in the old wood floors.
Bluebird Hill is in an excellent location. Located in the Big Bear Bay behind Malcolm Creek close to Moores on the water. The Rock Quarry is across the lake. And just 7 minutes from Draffenville, 12 min from Benton. Enjoy a day out to Paducah which has lots of shopping and restaurants, 30 Min. away. You are 20 Minutes from Grand Rivers.
And Approximately 1000 sq ft. Living space. The Buffalo Bison farm is not far. Turkey Bay is where people ride side by sides is 20 min away. Land Between the lakes is Bike trails.
The original owner named the farmhouse setting on hill. The family ask we not demolish the home. So we promised we would make improvements' to the home. A now we have the opportunity to share this little peaceful place with others that enjoy the outdoors.
